Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Food for Thought II Trivia Night. Your enthusiasm, generosity, and community spirit made the event a tremendous success.
Together, with the support of the London Central Lions Club, we raised $3,055 for The Patch.
These funds will help The Patch invest in the infrastructure needed to deliver programming and continue producing food for community initiatives, including our Free Markets held every second Friday.
The impact goes far beyond the dollars raised. Participants gain valuable experience, skills, confidence, and connection through growing food together. That food then goes on to nourish the very community that helped create it, a cycle of learning, contribution, and belonging.
Over the course of this partnership, the Lions and The Patch have grown together, united by a shared commitment to strengthening our community. We are grateful for everyone who helped make this event possible and look forward to continuing to support one another in the years ahead.
If you missed this one, don't worry, we'll be doing it again. Stay tuned for details on our next Trivia Night! ππ±π¦

Something new is growing at The PATCH π±
This June, weβre excited to launch FEED, our new rural farm employment training program, alongside our familiar and well-loved programs, ORCHARD and SEED.
FEED was created for those living outside of London who are looking for support getting into employment, or for anyone interested in exploring opportunities beyond the city through hands-on experience in rural agriculture.
Together, these programs support pathways into urban agriculture, rural farming, hospitality, and self-employment through hands-on training, mentorship, and paid placements. Whether youβre looking to build experience in agriculture and hospitality, explore rural farming opportunities beyond the bounds of London, or grow your own business idea, thereβs space to learn and grow with us.
Programs begin June 1st. Reach out to learn more or get involved at [email protected]
