As Driver Week wraps up, we asked a few people around TransPro to share a message for our drivers. There were plenty of thank-yous, a few laughs, and a lot of appreciation for the work they do every day.

We’ve been celebrating our drivers during National Trucking Week in Canada and National Truck Driver Appreciation Week in the U.S.
This week, we’ve handed out new TransPro T-shirts and caps, shared some sandwiches, and enjoyed a little more time catching up with the people who spend so much of theirs on the road. The food and gear are a small thank you for the safe, professional work our drivers do every day and for the care they take with our customers’ freight.

It was a rainy day last Wednesday, but the skies cleared in time for our first Annual Customer Appreciation BBQ. We welcomed a couple of dozen customers to our Milton terminal for lunch with the team, tours of our operation, and a behind-the-scenes look at TransPro.
Guests toured the terminal and warehouse, met more of the people who move their freight, and checked out a freshly cleaned TransPro highway truck.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to the TransPro team for making the afternoon a success. It was great to finally meet some familiar names in person and spend time together away from emails and phone calls.

Amanda and the TransPro team are getting ready to welcome some familiar faces at next week's Customer Appreciation BBQ.
We're shining up a highway truck and trailer to explore, and will guide tours of our yard and dock to show off our awesome operation.
The best part will be our team getting to know the clients whose freight they move throughout the year over a shared meal and some social time.
It’s the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Brake Safety Week, and TransPro Safety Director Mike Frolick is reminding all commercial drivers to thoroughly check their truck and trailer brakes.
From August 23 to 29, commercial vehicle inspectors across North America are paying extra attention to braking systems, with a special focus this year on the condition of brake drums and rotors.
Our shop has been working to ensure our fleet is ready and that our drivers know that a careful pre-trip helps to keep our trucks and everyone around them safe.
Thanks to our crew for taking brake safety seriously every week of the year.
