Anne DeGrace

This will be both fascinating and fun!

Join us on Monday, May 4 for an author talk with David Giuliano, in conversation with local author Anne DeGrace!

David Giuliano is an award-winning writer of fiction and nonfiction books, essays, and poems. His storytelling has been compared to Miriam Toews and Elizabeth Strout in its emotional insight and narrative warmth. The Undertaking of Billy Buffone, his first novel, was the winner of the Bressani Prize for fiction. His second novel, The Upending of Wendall Forbes, is just out. Postcards from the Valley, a collection of essays, was a Canadian bestseller. It’s Good to Be Here is a memoir about cancer, the metaphysics of medicine and the power of story to heal. He has also published two illustrated children’s books.

The event is free (donations of $2-$5 welcomed). Space is limited to 25 people, so RSVP is required. You can go to notably.ca/events, email us, or call 250-354-0148.
