I am so glad I was able to experience the late 60s early 70s where style was at its zenith. People dressed up not just on airplanes but even just to go out. Everything had style- the architecture, the clothes, the music, even movies and TV shows were fun and cool- James Bond, The Jetsons, Star Trek, Gilligans Island, what a time to be alive! Cara and I just finished a photoshoot in Palm Springs which can be seen on our photography channel. We're keeping it alive.
Live the life you feel most at home with. Follow your heart no matter what others are doing. Eventually people realize what was cool and who knows... ✨

Boy this constant posting on social media to be relevant is ridiculous. I don't know how people do it. They spend hours making the perfect picture, filter the hell out of it so they can go "look at me! look at me!" People see it for maybe three seconds, then move on. All that work for 3 seconds! It's insanity. But if you don't post, people forget about you. Not sure if that's good or bad, but at least the pressure is off. And with A.I. nowadays nothing is real anymore anyway and people are getting jaded with everything they see and real life is becoming boring to the masses. It's painful for me to post one thing every two weeks. Life is so precious, let's not squander it. Experience sunlight, birds, walking and real conversations while you still can. That's where the real food for the soul is.

Eating one meal a day is great but most people can't pull it off. Two meals a day is actually the sweet spot for most. The most important thing to remember is the body uses fuel the most around noon and starts storing it more after 6pm, so people who eat late tend to gain more fat and people who eat earlier tend to have more energy and get more done. Sunlight has a huge effect also as it controls circadian rythyms which affect everything from digestion, blood sugar control and hormones to immunity and aging. Snacking in between meals keeps insulin high which promotes fat storage and stops autophagy which accelerates aging. Autophagy (the recycling of old unhealthy cells) only happens if we haven't eaten for many hours. So not eating anything until 3 or 4pm is excellent for autophagy. For those who need to eat twice a day, the suggested times would be breakfast and lunch, and skipping dinner. Breakfast does not have to be early, it can also be 11 am or even noon and then having the second meal around 3 or 4 pm. Remember how many times you eat has nothing to do with calories. As long as you get your total needed calories and nutrients for the day, it doesn't matter if you eat once or twice. Going for a long time without food is not difficult if you eat enough protein. People who who can't go long without eating are carbaholics- they crave and choose to eat mainly carbs- bread, pasta, pizza, cookies, cakes, cereal and anything baked in an oven or high in sugar like orange juice. Sugar and carbs makes you even hungrier. Protein does the opposite- once your body has the daily requirement for protein, you can literally go the rest of the day without eating or being hungry. Fruit is great and should be part of the diet but fruit is very low in protein. Also don't avoid healthy fats (avocado, olive oil, nuts, seeds, nut butter, coconut etc) unless you want gallstones. Balance is key. Learn to say no to instant gratification foods and eat high nutrient unprocessed foods found in nature. Its not easy at first, but after a week or so, the body catches on and the rest is history.
It's amazing what's growing wild right outside your door. It's more powerful than anything you can buy at the grocery store. It's also good to know survival skills in case of emergency. Foraging is a great hobby and gets you more in touch with nature and all it has to offer. This book also makes a great gift!

I found this placed where I was working and all the world's problems in my life instantly poofed away. A small quiet gesture like this reminds us of what makes life worth living and what really matters. Thank God for the chance to experience love and being blessed with someone to walk beside us in life with a warm heart and a smile. This is the magic medicine that makes us realize all the crazy things that stress us out won't matter decades or lifetimes from now.
What does matter
and what does last
is this.
