Concerts For Kids

Thank you for welcoming us in again this year to play! The Block Party has become such a positive event in so many ways and we’re all grateful to be part of it!

This is the beginning of a long list of thank you posts about the EOF Block Party Clinic & Fundraiser.

First of all we would like to thank everyone directly involved with the Block Party.

The 2026 clinicians Dr Ryland Edwards & Justin Argent. Coming to SFF to present is a 3 day process which includes flying & driving respectively. We were so lucky to have two excellent equine practitioners to share their knowledge with us. We love when we have working vets & working farriers as clinicians. No BS, just cutting edge techniques you can use the next day you work. As if that wasn’t enough, both clinicians offered to do it for a reduced fee or in Justin’s case, 100% free including his travel expenses. Very generous!

Thank you to Heather Struthers for designing the shirt backs and pressing clothing all night. Thank you to Kirk Andrew Armitage for bartending. Thank you to Halamay for setting up the farm so beautifully (and especially the grass striping!)

Thank you to Lanark County Interval House for the work you do in our community. We are so impressed with all of your efforts and amazed at your involvement in our area. We are so proud to support you in our small way and encourage everyone to please do the same!

Thank you to Andy Morrone of Concerts For Kids. We are so pleased to have met you and to call you a friend. Andy has spent years organizing free music events and accepting donations on behalf of CHEO & Sick Kids hospitals. He has recently undertaken a new fund raising effort on behalf of music therapy programs in children’s hospitals across Canada through his hand made guitar business Apricity Guitars Canada. It’s great organizing this event with you, Andy and we are proud to support your efforts by donating 2/3 of the proceeds from this event.

An incredible $32,120 raised for Concerts For Kids and Lanark County Interval House Friday night at the Annual Eastern Ontario Farrier Assc Block Party hosted at Synergy Farm & Forge 🤘

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who donated to these charitable causes! CFK’s portion of the proceeds will help pay for Apricity Guitars Canada to build and donate handmade acoustic guitars to the remaining children’s hospitals in Canada 🤘Thank you so much for the continued support!

Thank you to the Eastern Ontario Farrier Assc and Synergy Farm & Forge for welcoming the CFK family in to put on a show again this year, rallying sponsors and generally coordinating the whole event! There is a lot of work that goes into this annual Block Party and CFK’s involvement is but a small component in the bigger picture. We are extremely grateful to be part of it!

The annual Eastern Ontario Farrier Assc EOF Block Party & Charity Fundraiser is coming up Friday, Sept 18th at Synergy Farm & Forge!

This free admission, family friendly live music event will feature a rockstar lineup of Concerts For Kids musicians including:

This event gets bigger every year and directly supports Concerts For Kids Apricity Guitars Canada and Lanark County Interval House and we’re excited to be part of it! There will be complimentary drinks provided by Perth Brewery and Pommies Cider Co. with food vendors and a mechanical bull.

$800 raised for CHEO & SickKids Foundation Saturday as part of the Whispering Pines Smoke Co . popup at the Franktown General Store thanks to generous folks and the incredible talent of Sarah 🤘

$1510 donated to CHEO & SickKids following our show Sat night in support of the CSOR Association 20th Anniversary celebration.

Almost all of the sound equipment and lighting you see in the pictures and video were generously provided by Long & McQuade Kanata as part of their continued support to CFK and Spectre Gunship’s fundraising efforts for children’s hospitals. Thank you so much, friends!!

$6,686 raised and donated to CHEO & SickKids children’s hospital foundations thanks to incredibly generous people who love music and care for our kids!

This was part of the Pipe Hitters Union MC Annual CFK Fundraiser! This year the club hosted their American counterparts which added an awesome element of Brotherhood and camaraderie.

Huge thanks to the staff at Long & McQuade Kanata for continuing their support to CFK and Spectre Gunship in our fundraising efforts in support of children’s hospital foundations!
