Perth Family Health Team

Are you looking for accessible services to support your mental health and social needs?

The Lanark Leeds and Grenville Ontario Health Team is hosting their mobile clinic to support individuals to connect with healthcare services, community resources, and peer supports. The mobile clinics will be taking place on October 7th, November 4th, and December 2nd at the Carleton Place Library from 1:00-3:00pm.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is an opportunity to reflect on the history and lasting impacts of residential schools and to recognize the ongoing responsibility we all share in the work of truth, healing, and reconciliation.

As a Family Health Team, we recognize that health and well-being are deeply connected to relationships, culture, community, and the conditions in which people live. The legacy of residential schools and the ongoing impacts of colonial policies continue to affect Indigenous Peoples and communities across Canada, including through intergenerational trauma and inequities in health and access to care.

Today, we listen, learn, reflect, and continue the work of reconciliation—not only on September 30, but throughout the year.

Would you like to learn small, meaningful lifestyle changes that can make a big difference for older adults? WSL is proud to sponsor the Promoting Healthy Aging in Place workshop series, beginning Sept. 29. The workshop is limited to 16 attendees, and usually fills up quickly.

This series of six interactive workshops delivered by Dr. J. Puxty is designed for seniors who want to stay active, eat well and feel connected to their community.
