Sneak peek of Wednesday’s market: lots of local corn on the cob, sweet potatoes, zucchini and cherry tomatoes, fresh lettuce and more. We’ll have lots of fruits like clementines, oranges, bananas and citrus. Ordering opens Wednesday at 12pm-3pm for pickup or delivery. Shop in person at PELC 3-5pm in Picton. Can you believe August is just flying by? We are knee deep into corn season and we've got lots of local sweet corn from Hagerman's, as well as zucchini and greens. Spinach fatayer are back, they're a delicious hand pie filled with tangy spinach filling, made by Taste of Hama. They make a great packed lunch! From Fiddlehead Farm we've got mini sweet potatoes and salad sized tomatoes. Lots of our regular staples are on the table this week including two types of potatoes, and lots of fruit.
