I met Emily & Brandon on an all inclusive trip to Costa Rica as a wedding photographer and we instantly connected.
Everyone involved in that trip brought positive change and perspective to my life in a time where I needed it most.
Although it was a quick friendship,
(bonding over emo music, video games and the humidity levels,)
Emily and Brandon are obviously stuck w me, my husband and my camera, for the rest of their natural lives 😂

Watching these two rad people become first-time parents has been nothing short of inspiring and Mr. Finn is probably the luckiest lil guy on this planet.

Finding the right words to describe watching my very own sister and Ryan get engaged has been tougher than I anticipated!

Planning the trip to Ryan's family farm in Rosseau, and this photo session over three months, while hiding our true intentions (from my big sister, of all people!!) was one of the most challenging and rewarding photography moments of my career.

Hello! I'm Vanessa, the photographer behind the lens of VQ Visuals!
I absolutely adore everything camera and photo related and am so excited to meet so many new friends!

A little bit about me:

~ I've been quietly finding my style and working in the photography industry for about 10 years after graduating photography college. 📷

~ I ADORE escapism through art and literature - specifically horror / fantasy genres.

~ I like to live with my head in the clouds. ☁️

~ I'm a sucker for Celtic folklore. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🧚‍♂️

~ I have a soft spot in my heart for little critters, and have a family of pet rats with my husband. We've had a total of 10! 🖤🐀

~ I am currently located in Niagara region, however, I'm always down for a road trip, so am open to booking sessions all over the place! 🗺️
