Today our little ones wore orange and created their own Orange Shirt Day artwork as we learned, in an age-appropriate way, about kindness, belonging, respect, and why every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and proud of who they are.

As we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour Indigenous children, residential school survivors, their families and communities, and remember the children who never returned home. 🧡

Fall Tree Art 🍂🎨

Hello, Fall! 🍁🧡 Our little artists created the most beautiful fall trees, filling them with all the wonderful colours of the season. A fun way to explore creativity, colours, textures, and fine motor skills while welcoming one of our favourite seasons! 🍂🌳✨

Pre-Writing in Sand ✍️🤎

Little fingers getting ready to write! ✨ Before children can confidently form letters with a pencil, they first need to build finger strength, control, coordination, and muscle memory. Practicing shapes and early letter strokes in sand makes those important pre-writing skills sensory, playful, and fun! 🖐️✨

🌈🎯 Match, Move & Learn!

Our little ones put their color recognition, coordination, balance, and concentration to the test by matching the balls in their hands to the colored spots under their feet! 💛 Learning is always more fun when we get those little bodies moving! 🟢🔵🟡🔴✨

🔷✨ Building Shapes, Building Skills!

Today our little learners used Play-Doh and wooden sticks to build different shapes! This hands-on activity helped strengthen shape recognition, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving all while learning through play. 🟣🔺🟦💛

🎨✨ Stencil Art Magic!

Our little artists stamped and painted around their favourite shapes, then came the best part; the big reveal! 🦋🚗🧚 Peeling away the stencil left a beautiful silhouette behind while helping little hands practice fine motor skills, creativity, coordination, and shape recognition. 💛✨

🧪✨ Little Scientists at Work!

Today we explored the magic of surface tension using coloured water, baby powder, soap, and Q-tips! 💦 Watching the powder quickly move away when touched with soap sparked so much curiosity and excitement. 🔬🌈

🐴🌿 Learning beyond the classroom! 🐐✨

One of our favourite Magic Years adventures! Our little explorers spent the day getting up close with the animals, meeting goats and donkeys, enjoying pony rides and pony cart rides, and making some pretty unforgettable memories along the way. 🥹💛
We believe childhood should be filled with opportunities to explore, experience, discover, and have FUN, and field trips like this bring learning to life in the sweetest way. 🌈

🎓✨ And just like that… they’re off to Kindergarten! 💛
What a beautiful way to celebrate our amazing graduates and everything they’ve accomplished at Magic Years. From their little graduation gowns and certificates to lots of food, laughter, dancing, and unforgettable moments, this was such a special day for all of us. 🥹🎉
Watching these little ones learn, grow, build friendships, and become the confident children they are today has been an absolute privilege. We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them.
