We went to visit the exhibition of Ikebana at Château Ramezay in old Montreal. Do you know what’s
“Ikebana” (生け花 / いけばな) ? means Japanese flower arranging. But it’s more than simply putting flowers in a vase—it’s a traditional Japanese art focused on harmony, balance, space, line, and the natural beauty of each branch and flower.

So, Ikebana = “bringing flowers to life.”

It’s often associated with simplicity, mindfulness, and Japanese aesthetics, making it a beautiful part of the Japanese slow living lifestyle. Let’s enrich our mind on Culture day!
