🎙 **MARTYRS // INTERVIEW PREVIEW**

What happens when two very different creative minds collide?

Next week, NeonVerse goes inside the world of MARTYRS with Michael exploring the characters, memories, strange influences and creative experiments behind the music, while revealing how Jon’s musicianship helps shape those ideas into something unmistakably MARTYRS.

We talk genre-hopping, the dangers of nostalgia, the Welsh Valleys, songwriting across entire lifetimes, their “persistently algorithm-unfriendly” philosophy and how accidentally pitch-shifting a vocal down an entire octave helped finally unlock a song years in the making.

And then there’s **The Ffau** their enormous new orchestral spoken-word folk-horror project quietly taking shape behind the scenes.

Michael builds worlds. Jon helps give those worlds musical character.

Somewhere in that exchange, it becomes MARTYRS.

**MARTYRS through Michael’s side of the signal.**

SUPPORT BURN MONEY STUDIOS

Behind YTC is another story we want to help amplify.
Portland's Burn Money Studios suffered a devastating building fire that destroyed its studio space. Burn Money has recorded and supported independent artists for years while also encouraging young people to become involved in music and creative production.

As they continue rebuilding, NeonVerse Radio is proud to share their GoFundMe with our community.
Every contribution helps keep an independent studio alive, creating music, supporting artists and giving the next generation somewhere to create.

Arlin Godwin’s Artist of the Month page is now officially live at NeonVerse!
Arlin enters Future City with a multi‑disciplinary spark, a creator whose music, films, and visuals all share the same atmospheric DNA.

“Baby You’re a Big Star Now” brings a warm early‑2000s house glow, while his film work delivers the introspective, cinematic tension NeonVerse thrives on.

It’s emotional.
It’s atmospheric.
It’s underground.
It’s Future City.
