Had the honor of serving Nikolai Nikolaeff during TIFF for the premiere of Kick On
I knew him from Stranger Things, Dare Devil, and The Pacific so having him stop by the café was pretty surreal. But beyond the screen, such a gentleman and genuinely cool dude. Loved his coffee order too

Blueberry walnut cake the new addition to our housebaked pastries. The cake is moist filled with wild blueberries from Ontario and Persian walnuts, baked with Spanish olive oil and garnished with oats and of course more blueberries and walnuts to perfection.

From writing code as a software engineer to crafting experiences in hospitality, my journey has always been driven by passion. Inspired from a young age by Chef Gordon Ramsay, I found my love for the culinary world—and today, that vision lives through Simpl Cafe.
They say never meet your heroes—but he was everything I had imagined and more: inspiring, composed, gracious, and genuinely kind.
