As Art of Resistance said, “a grift is a grift is a grift.”
On August 5, the Canadian government released a report entitled Campus Antisemitism and Student Experiences. The document repeatedly equates anti-Zio n ism with antisemitism, fails to recognize rampant anti-🇵🇸 racism on Canadian campuses, and actively denies the G side in 🇵🇸.
This is yet another example of the Canadian government spreading Zio n ist propaganda and being complicit with the m**der of Palestinians. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: settler colonies will always protect other settler colonies.
Let’s continue to share documents like York university’s report on anti-Palestinian racism, produced by their Islamophobia research hub, as a way of countering this Zio n ist propaganda. And if you work in academia, and someone tries to use the case report as evidence, you can point out its lack of method logical rigor ;)

Carney’s approach to immigration has been nothing less than disgraceful. He continues to violate Canada‘s obligations to provide safety to refugees, he continues to separate families, and he continues to make people wait literal decades in limbo. And this latest indefinite pausing of the parents and grandparents reunification program is an example of that.
Families are being left with no answers as with tens of thousands of people are waiting to find out if they’ll ever be with their families again. And in cases where parents and grandparents are ill and need care support, indefinite limbo is even more heartbreaking and enraging.
The minister of immigration Lena Diab is not simply incompetent: this is manufactured violence to scapegoat migrants for Canada‘s pro-billionaire policies and rising cost of living.

As we enter the 6th annual Fat Liberation Month, we on the left need to call each other in to push back against the rise in fatphobic attacks against those with different politics and values, regardless of what those politics and values are.
When there is so much rage, I know it can be easy to fall into the fatphobic insult trap, but ultimately, as courn 안 reminded us in a recent vid, it is not going to be the billionaire, politician, oligarch, or Zio who was going to see your insult, it is your comrade. And that is who it will hurt.
