Casa Foundation For International Development
To empower youths and women to build better communities and support emerging leaders by providing the There are several reasons as to why this is so.
Founded in 2011 with its Corporate registered office in Ontario, Canada, the Casa Foundation for International Development is a Canadian Registered Non profit organization working within the GTA, Canada and parts of Africa to promote Development Initiatives, support Shelters and Homes for the needy by providing basic requirements. It supports Public Schools to bridge the gap in required learning resources by providing educational materials and tutoring. It holds strategic sessions and seminars to identify entrepreneurs, emerging leaders with the aim to develop their business initiatives and ideas- mentor and support them in the pursuit of their dreams. It is also promotes community development initiatives and interaction through its Annual Leaders Roundtable Conference. Raising Hope is important because West Africa (and Africa at large) punches way below her weight in the global economy despite her size and talented, resourceful human capital. Some have argued the weakness of democratic institutions or its lack thereof. It has been suggested that democracy is negotiated in Africa, rotated amongst various ethnic groups to maintain tribal loyalties. Other authorities believe that over-centralization of power and the nationalization of production and means of distribution within these economies account for the problems we see today. It is no wonder that the highest ranked African Country in the UN human development index (HDI) is Libya ranked number 55 and only 4 out of 53 sovereign African nations are rated in the first 100 on the HDI (UN HDI Report 2009). In our opinion, Africa lags behind economically because of a lack of opportunity to its youths and women-folk. The Casa Foundation seeks to address some of these issues alongside other partners it collaborates with.

Today, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, we honour the rich cultures, traditions, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada.
This day is an opportunity to celebrate Indigenous voices, recognize the strength and resilience of Indigenous communities, and reflect on our shared responsibility to advance understanding, respect, and reconciliation.
As we celebrate, we acknowledge the enduring legacy and leadership of Indigenous Peoples and their vital role in shaping the past, present, and future of Canada.
At Casa Foundation, we’re building pathways for women, youth, and entrepreneurs to learn, grow, and lead. 💛✨
From mentorship to digital skills and business development, our programs are designed to create real impact and sustainable success.
