Lunch in London, then tricep dips on a bench. No gym required. 🇬🇧
I’ve learned that “I’ll get back on track when I’m home” usually means I won’t. So I move where I am. Right after lunch, a few minutes, one bench, and my triceps are awake and my energy’s back.
That’s the whole point of Anytime Anywhere. It doesn’t have to be a full workout to count. Small moves, done consistently, wherever life puts you — that’s how we come back stronger.
How to do it:
• Sit on the edge of a bench or sturdy ledge, hands beside your hips, fingers forward
• Slide your hips off the edge, knees bent
• Lower by bending your elbows straight back, then press up
• Easier: keep feet close. Harder: straighten your legs
• Try 2–3 sets of 8–12
Where are you moving today? Tell me below, and save this for your next trip. 👇

You take care of everyone. Who’s taking care of you? I hear it all the time: “I’ll start taking care of myself when things calm down.”
But life rarely calms down on its own. There’s always another lunch to pack, another appointment, another person who needs you. And somewhere along the way, you slipped to the bottom of your own list.
I know that feeling. When I was rebuilding my own life, I didn’t have time or energy for big changes. What brought me back was one tiny habit at a time, attached to moments I was already living.
That’s called habit stacking:
After I start the coffee, I drink a glass of water.
While the kettle boils, I do 5 counter pushups.
After lunch, I walk for 5 minutes.
And if you miss a day? It doesn’t undo your progress. You just come back.
You deserve to thrive. 👑

Anytime Anywhere: Elevated Jump Squats 🔥
Onto a stair, a bench, a sturdy step, any elevated surface you’ve got.
Yes, this one is more advanced. But I want you to see that there are still advanced options on the go. Can’t get to the gym? Don’t have equipment at home yet? There’s always something you can do to build strength and endurance.
That’s what this series is about: showing you that even in the madness and busyness of life, there are things you can be doing to at least maintain.
That’s hard to hear. We convince ourselves that showing up for everyone else is what we have to do, all the time, and that there are no other options.
But there are options.
Asking for support.
Setting limits.
Saying no to things.
You’re worth showing up for too. 👑
ANYTIME ANYWHERE: Stair Incline Push-Ups 👑. You don’t need a gym, a class, or a perfect hour to get stronger. You need a staircase and a few minutes.
So many of us wait for the “right time” to start. The kids are settled, work calms down, life gets easier. But strength gets built in the in-between moments, one small choice at a time.
How to do it:
1️⃣ Hands on a stair, slightly wider than your shoulders
2️⃣ Walk your feet back until your body is one straight line, head to heels
3️⃣ Inhale as you lower your chest toward the step
4️⃣ Exhale as you press back up
Meet yourself where you are:
⬆️ Higher step = easier
⬇️ Lower step = more challenge
Form check:
✔️ Hips in line, no sagging or piking
✔️ Elbows angled back, not flared wide
✔️ Neck neutral, eyes just past your hands
Every rep is proof you showed up for yourself today. That’s how a comeback is built.
Try 2–3 sets of 8–12 next time you pass your stairs, and save this so it’s here when you need it 👑

Some losses change everything.
On Saturday, October 24, the Vilomah Conference is bringing together bereaved parents and the people who support them for a full day of honest conversation, education, connection and support around parental grief.
There will be speakers and facilitators, workshops, peer connection, healing and wellness spaces, a Quiet Room, and practical resources, with space to participate in the day in whatever way feels right for you.
Vilomah centres bereaved parents, but families grieve too.
Adult siblings, grandparents, partners, family members, friends and professionals are welcome.
And because we know attending something like this can feel easier when you have someone beside you, one ticket admits two people.
Bring your partner. Your sister. Your mom. A friend. Another bereaved parent. Someone who supports you.
