CMVA 2026 ATC : OCTOBER 22nd KEYNOTE SPEAKER - MR. ALEXANDRE GAUTHIER, SUNCOR ENERGY
Our francophone Alexandre Gauthier graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2005 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer with APEGA and the OIQ. He's a member of the CMVA since 2009 and holds an Expert Vibration Analyst Category IV certification from Mobius Institute. He works in the oil and gas industry since 2005 and has developed extensive expertise in rotating equipment reliability, condition monitoring, advanced vibration analysis, troubleshooting, and asset repair. He currently serves as a Specialist Rotating Engineer at Suncor Energy within the Operational Improvement & Support Services function, supporting rotating equipment reliability across Suncor’s operating sites.
Mr. Gauthier will speak about The Evolution of Machinery Diagnostics in the Age of Analytics and AI. This presentation will also be given in English at a later time on the same day. https://cmva.com/technical-program-2/

CTA ACVM 2026 : CONFÉRENCIER INVITÉ DU 22 OCTOBRE - M. ALEXANDRE GAUTHIER, SUNCOR ENERGY
Alexandre Gauthier, notre conférencier invité francophone, est diplômé en génie mécanique de l’Université de Sherbrooke depuis 2005. Il est ingénieur membre de l’APEGA et de l’OIQ. Membre de l'ACVM depuis 2009, il détient également la certification d'analyse expert des vibrations CAT IV du Mobius Institute. Alexandre Gauthier travaille dans l’industrie pétrolière et gazière depuis 2005 et a développé une expertise approfondie en fiabilité des équipements rotatifs, surveillance de l’état des machines, analyse vibratoire avancée, dépannage et réparation d’équipements. Il occupe actuellement le poste de spécialiste en ingénierie des équipements rotatifs chez Suncor Énergie, au sein du groupe Operational Improvement & Support Services, où il soutient la fiabilité des équipements rotatifs à travers les sites d’exploitation de Suncor.
M. Gauthier nous entretiendra sur L’évolution du diagnostic des machines à l’ère de l’analytique avancée et de l’intelligence artificielle. Cette présentation sera offerte en anglais dans un autre créneau horaire le jour même. https://cmva.com/programmation/?lang=fr
