Top 5 Moving Tips~

1. Book utilities and change address:
Set up internet, power, and your mail forwarding at least two weeks before moving.

2. Create an Essentials "Do Not Move" Box:
Set aside immediate necessities like medications, phone chargers, toilet paper, and basic tools, and keep this box in your own vehicle so it doesn't accidentally get loaded onto the moving truck.

3. Measure Doorways and Spaces:
Measure large furniture pieces alongside the doorways, hallways, and stairwells of your new home ahead of time to ensure everything will fit smoothly.

4. Purge Before The Packers Arrive:
Sort through your belongings and donate, sell, or throw away unwanted items early on so you aren’t wasting time and space transporting things you don't actually want. If you require assistance contact TruePro Packers today.

5. Book Elevators and Loading Docks:
If your move includes the use of elevators of loading docks at apartment buildings, be sure to book them for your PACKING and MOVING dates and times. Your packers will have materials to be moved and will need the same access as the movers.
