Janean Brühn, Superkül’s Interior Design Lead, explains the logic behind the lobby design at The Fairbank, a recently completed purpose-built rental project on Toronto’s Eglinton Avenue West: “The lobby was very much conceived as a place where people would want to spend time. With a hospitality bar and assortment of furnishings — there’s soft seating, counter seating, and a communal table — the lobby does triple duty: it’s a lounge, an entertainment area, and a coworking space. We wanted it to be a true gathering place and genuine extension of tenants’ units.”

Thoughtful design in the right places speaks volumes before words are ever exchanged.

Natural light is the ultimate design statement. ☀️
It opens up the space, highlights textures, and brings warmth that no fixture can replicate.

Let the sun in — your interiors will thank you.

Design made effortless. Through a seamless experience for those shaping exceptional spaces. Every detail is intentional.

At Camby Rentals, that vision came to life the moment we stepped into the blank canvas that would soon become the lobby, party room, games room, and model suites. Our team at Oben Shops stepped in early—right where we work best.

We believe the difference lies in the details. That’s why we don’t wait for the final drawings to arrive. We join the journey early on, side-by-side with design teams or directly with the client. From day one, we dive deep—reviewing product specs, mapping out possibilities, and building a clear, collaborative statement of requirements that everyone can align with.

Because when the scope is sharp, the ex*****on is seamless.
And the result? A space that doesn’t just meet expectations. It defines them. Like Camby Rentals.
