💚 WE DID IT - THANK YOU 💚

Ian’s flight is funded. We are overwhelmed, in the best way.

When we shared his story, we had no idea how fast this community would show up for a puppy most of you had never met. But you saw him, read what he’s been through, and said “let’s get him home.” That’s it. That’s this community in a nutshell.

To everyone who donated, shared, or tagged a friend … thank you. You didn’t just fund a flight, you gave Ian a real shot at the safe, loved life he deserves at R&R Pet Sanctuary.

We’ll be booking and finalizing his travel plans over the next few days, so stay tuned! We cannot wait to show you Ian on his way to Arizona.

Ian has no idea how many people just changed his whole story. We do. And we won’t forget it. 🐾

Meet Ian ❤️❤️❤️

Ian came to us as a puppy back in March. Since then his case has thrown us curveball after curveball - stubborn skin issues, megaesophagus (which means eating is a whole production and keeping food down isn’t guaranteed), and a wobble in his walk that’s gotten worse, not better. Our vet team has done everything they can with what’s available here, but testing capability in the Bahamas is limited, and Ian’s case needs more than we can fully diagnose on island. We still don’t have all the answers.

What we do know: Ian is a happy dog. He wants to live, and he’s fighting for it every day. Baark and BHS have collectively fallen hard for this boy and we will not give up on him. 🥰

R&R Pet Sanctuary in Lake Havasu City, Arizona said yes to Ian … a real home, built for animals with special needs, for as long as he needs it. His foster mom has already offered to fly with him to get him there.

The only thing standing in the way now is $2,000 for the flight and transport costs. 🇧🇸 ✈️ 🇺🇸

If you can chip in anything, or just share this so it reaches someone who can … that’s what gets Ian to Arizona. He’s already fought harder than most dogs ever have to. Let’s get him home.
