A story of mine—and many of us living with ...
Short-term memory issues, especially losing simple words, forgetting what you were doing midway through a task, or losing your train of thought in the middle of a conversation.
As human beings, we already experience moments like this, and for many women, these experiences can become even more noticeable as we go through . So, can you imagine navigating the normal aspects of everyday life with this on top of it?
It can be embarrassing and frustrating. But over the years, you learn different strategies and create your own ways of navigating or . For example: crossword puzzles, online games like Sudoku, using audiobooks (another way to strengthen word memory if it's difficult to keep up with reading) and many more.

We have all experienced grief in some form at some point. FTKW supports those who have experienced miscarriages/pregnancy loss. Organizations such as Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre's Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network - PAIL Network provide valuable support to those navigating this type of loss. Here is another event happening in October, hosted by OSSCO Learning - Ontario Society of Senior Citizens Organizations to support anyone experiencing loss and help them learn how to manage grief in its many forms.
