✨Gratitude Post✨

What started off as a quiet Saturday morning turned into chaos … but in the best way possible.

Oliver and Sam decided to go on an adventure by breaking through the back fence line and over into the neighbour’s pasture (thanks to some fallen trees). We eventually caught them amongst the herd of new horses and walk them back over to our side. Huge thank you to Dale, Sophie and Emily for giving me a hand !!

The rest of the day consisted of ….
- repairing fences
- installing lights (thank you to the amazing Doug and Joanne, with the help of Bev and Brenda)
- having pens cleared out and the manure pile pushed back (thank you Corey Mandrusiak)
- getting a load of hay delivered (thank you DDS Farms)
- cleaning the stalls and barn and reinstalling the divider wall
- moving horses into different pens

And eventually ending it with a yummy Perogie supper.

My body hurts, the truck is officially dead and I still have fences to fix tomorrow but for now … all is well!!

Thank you to our amazing team and community for all they continue to do for us. We are so blessed !!

Ps - we are on the hunt for a new truck so please keep us in your thoughts and prayers lol

My horses LOVE pointing out when there are holes in the fence.

We will be doing a winter prep weekend very soon and will need some friends with chainsaw power to assist with some fence cleanup!

If you’re looking to get involved shoot us a message and we’ll get you set up!! As always, we deeply appreciate the support of our community and volunteers! Without you we couldn’t survive!!

Ladies and Gentlemen …

No previous modelling experience needed, just a set of Daisy dukes and a great sense of humour !!

✨Quest Update✨

Q is getting some much needed TLC from his favourite friend Emily. We’ve upped his grain, cube and hay intake and he has been getting a betadine scrub treatment to clean up his wounds plus a topical ointment to help heal and keep the bugs away.

He’s looking better but still a ways to go before snow hits !!
