9 years in business… and I’ve failed more times than I can count.
There were seasons when people would say, “Marie, you’re crushing it!” and I’d smile, thinking, “If only you knew.”
There were projects that didn’t go as planned, decisions I questioned, moments of imposter syndrome where I wondered if I even belonged in the design world.
But looking back, I see a pattern.
Every time I found myself in a low place—personally or professionally—and was forced to make a change, it led me somewhere even better.
Resilience isn’t about never failing. It’s about trusting yourself enough to keep going anyway.
One of the greatest lessons I hope I will pass on to my children is this:
If you’re not failing, you’re probably not trying.
And if there’s one thing these nine years have taught me, it’s that growth is almost always waiting on the other side of discomfort. 🤍
Finding joy isn’t found in things — it’s found in moments. 🌿
These curtains and blinds won’t make you happy. But waking up to a soft, warm glow filtering through the shades? That quiet morning light might just start your day right.
Curtains that frame your view like a piece of art. A room that feels like you.
No, material things can’t buy happiness — but surrounding yourself with beauty in the everyday? That’s a contributor. That’s intention. That’s joy in the small things.💫

Can a window covering be elegant and practical? Yes. Yes it can. 🌿
The Hunter Douglas Silhouette Shade gives you full control — close the vanes for a soft warm glow, open them for that beautiful filtered light, or raise the whole shade and let your windows steal the show.
And here’s the fun part — you get all the look of a vane without the weight and bulk of a faux wood blind. Light, airy, and oh-so-easy to adjust.
Now you know I love a good layering moment with side panels — but this is one of those rare styles that truly shines all on its own. No extras needed. 🙌
That curb appeal though? Absolutely timeless. ✨

I’ve always believed our homes evolve right alongside us ✨
The spaces that once worked for busy family life slowly transition with us through different stages and seasons. What we need changes… and our homes should change with us.
“Clever design converts and changes according to need.”
That’s what I love most about thoughtful design — and the window treatment ingredient in a home. Finding the right fit to transition with you.⏳

Light filtering shades throughout the home created the perfect balance of softness, privacy, and consistency ✨
By carrying the same look from room to room, the entire home feels calm, connected, and intentional.
To finish the primary bedroom, we added custom room-darkening drapery with a modern ripplefold pleat for a clean, tailored look and added softness.
Thoughtfully designed for real living. 🤍
Install day is the BIG day!! I kind of twiddle my thumbs and feel useless just watching!
I am grateful that this guy puts up with me!🤓
Thanks Kyle, you are awesome! 🎬⭐️

30 years today since I lost my mom.
And somehow grief can still hit me so hard it takes my breath away.
Growing up, home didn’t always feel safe. We lived in shelters, moved constantly, and went through things no kid should. But somehow my mom could still make a space feel warm and comforting with very little. I know that shaped everything I do and she is my muse.
A couple years after she passed, when I decided I wanted to become an Interior Decorator, I remember thinking… “how does decorating actually serve people?”
I understood it completely.
Home is so much deeper than how it looks.
A safe space changes how people feel.
Order feels calming.
Beauty can feel healing.
I sometimes make fun that my career is a trauma response 😂 but honestly… there’s truth to that. It’s why I care so much when clients invite me into their homes. Spaces are personal. Energy matters and your home is your get away from the world.
Mother’s Day has always been a mixed bag for me. Missing my mom while also feeling so grateful my own kids have me and letting them celebrate me.🤍
Today my daughter is taking me shopping and already surprised me with a dress, then I’ll probably come home, listen to Loretta Lynn🎶, pot some flowers, cry a little and smile a little too.
Grief has no timeline. Love doesn’t either.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, step moms, aunties, bonus moms, dog moms, and anyone missing their mom today. 🤍

This summer home was designed for making memories — full of fun, relaxation, and meaningful details ✨
In the guest bedrooms, we leaned into a touch of whimsy with playful patterns that feel warm, welcoming, and a little nostalgic. The kind of spaces kids will remember as part of their special stays at Grandma & Grandpa’s lake house 🤍
For the primary bedroom, we created a cozy retreat with just the right touch of luxury.
Because your surroundings create a feeling — and the details are part of it.
Thoughtfully designed for real living. 🤍
