The CarePartners modular clinics are built to bring healthcare to communities *anywhere* – including IPM! This year we offered *free personal blood pressure readings from CarePartners nursing staff on site!* as well as provided a clean, private breastfeeding space to families during the event. Danielle Lamot and her baby girl were just one of the families that made use of the space during IPM.

CarePartners is dedicated to bringing quality healthcare to where patients need and want it most – the communities where they live. Along with community partners like the Grey-Bruce Ontario Health Team (OHT), St John Ambulance MidWestern Ontario , and ProResp . CarePartners helps deliver healthcare to Ontarians in rural areas that may face unique challenges. Our modular unit nursing clinic in Bothwell Ontario is a great example of a creative and effective healthcare solution when infrastructure proves to be a challenge.

This week, to open the annual International Plowing Match in Walkerton, Minister of Rural Affairs Lisa Thompson called on Ontarians to “celebrate the people, businesses, and industries” that make rural communities strong. She added the importance of ensuring that rural communities thrive, and we couldn’t agree more. Access to healthcare, no matter where you live in the province, means a healthier Ontario.

It’s another gorgeous fall day and the perfect opportunity to head over to the International Plowing Match in Walkerton, Ontario! While you’re here, make sure to come see CarePartners at one (or all!) of our 4 locations on site.

The Family Care Centre is where you’ll meet CarePartners nursing staff, have your blood pressure checked, and tour one of our modular care units bringing healthcare to under-served rural communities, or take a break with baby if you’re a mom in need of some privacy.

Our Agriculture Tent celebrates Care Excellence in Rural Ontario.
