I also brought home a quartet of black, bearded silkies! 😍

These are from show stock, however, have quite a bit of white frosting, making them unable to show. As I’m not showing, at this point anyways, this is a colour flaw that I’m ok with!

I can’t wait to see what these fluffy butts will produce for chicks 😍

We have geese ready for the table! 🤤

Whole goose, neck included. No organs.

$8/lb weighing between 10 & 15 pounds.

We are, for the most part, a family of dark meat lovers so roasting a goose is perfect!

Set that goose on top of a rack, in the roaster, and the grease will always sit underneath. We love bread stuffing over here too, so we make homemade stuffing and wrap it in tinfoil and pop it on the oven, separate from the goose. It’s a WIN WIN!

We are looking for a responsible, focused, reliable individual to help out a few times a week with the following:

- raking the goose/chicken pen
- dumping, cleaning and refilling kiddie pools
- cleaning coops
- mixing and topping up feeders
- cleaning and refilling waterers
- additional, random, light tasks may be available (if the individual would like to put in more time)

We have sheep, horses, geese and chickens on our ranch along with cats and dogs.

Preference for a start time would be between 9 & 10 am.

We’re located 1/2 hour east of Westlock.
