Mentorship is one of the most powerful ways the church preserves its faith, strengthens its people, and prepares the next generation.

We cannot build a strong church by simply preaching to the next generation; we must walk with them.

Mentorship creates intentional relationships where older and younger women can share wisdom, navigate challenges, grow spiritually, and discover their purpose in God.

This is what made the April Mother-Daughter Retreat, themed “Heart to Heart: Building Relationships for Eternity,” so meaningful.

Having the opportunity to speak at the event reminded me that when we open our hearts to one another, we do more than build relationships we build legacies.

One woman’s experience can become another woman’s guidance, one woman’s faith can strengthen another’s, and one generation’s lessons can become the foundation upon which the next generation stands.

This Sabbath, we are addressing a topic that is often hidden but deeply impactful, Dementia.
Many are walking this journey quietly, without support or understanding.
But as a community, we can do better.
Join us as we break the silence on dementia; raising awareness, building compassion, and learning how to support those affected.

God’s love is unconditional and not based on performance.

Through Christ’s sacrifice (Romans 5:8), we are fully known and loved. His grace gives strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9) and mercy when we fail. This gift of grace is sufficient for every challenge, offering hope and an everlasting promise to all people everywhere.

This trust isn't blind.

Trusting God means surrendering our need for control and embracing His sovereignty. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we're encouraged to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." This trust isn't blind; it's based on the character of God, who is faithful and true. When we trust Him, we experience peace that transcends understanding and confidence in His goodness.

Take the Step of Faith
Today, let's choose to step out in faith and trust God more deeply.

Winding down from work on a Friday feels like a mini-vacation for the soul—am I right? That moment when you shut the laptop and swap emails for family time is pure gold. It’s not just a stress reliever; it’s a chance to reconnect with the people who remind you why you hustle. It's also a time to worship you creator.

So, hug the kids, tease your spouse, call your mom or join your tribe of friends—it’s go time.

The Monday-to-Friday grind can wear us down. Endless meetings, deadlines, and that guy who still doesn’t mute on Zoom—it’s a lot. Balance isn’t about always escaping to the water front; you can simply watch the rainbow.

It’s about carving out space. Take a walk with your partner, play a board game with the fam, or just chill without work pinging your brain.

Here’s the kicker: set boundaries. Say “no” when you can—politely. Clock out and guard your family time like it’s sacred. Work pays the bills, but your crew at home keeps you sane. Don’t let the inbox crash your dinner table vibe—you’re not a machine.

Tomorrow on 1st March, its International Women's Day of Prayer. Theme: The Joy of Being God's Daughter.

Whosoever will - come. It's fully paid for.

Being God's daughter means living in the security of His endless love, grace, and faithfulness. No matter what life throws your way, you are cherished, chosen, and covered by His promises. Rest in the joy of knowing that you are His—forever loved, forever held, and forever enough.

Appreciating my motherhood and celebrating everyone with a motherly heart.

Second Corinthians 2:15 illustrates our lives as a sweet fragrance, a pleasing aroma to the Lord. This scent bears witness to both the saved and unsaved in our midst. Analogous to the perfume used in Tabernacle worship, our lives necessitate the integration of salt, purity, and holiness. Lacking these vital components, the fragrance falls short in its purpose to touch the world for God, for its authenticity cannot be artificially reproduced; it stems from a life surrendered to the Spirit.

Monday Motivation and Inspiration. Mentoring others, particularly young individuals, has consistently been a source of personal fulfillment for me. Often, I provide guidance in understated ways, which yields immense satisfaction. As stated in Proverbs 27:17, 'As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.' Flourishing in Godliness.
