Our Brisbane team stepped away from the office for a day of volunteering at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, putting our Value to Society commitment into action.
From maintaining eucalyptus garden beds to creating enrichment equipment, the team got hands-on supporting local wildlife.
We also learnt that the sanctuary’s 100+ koalas can eat up to half a tonne of eucalyptus every day. A great reminder of the important role conservation and education play in protecting Australia’s native wildlife.

Our CEO, Géraldine Picaud, recently visited teams across Taiwan, Vietnam and China seeing firsthand how SGS is strengthening its capabilities and supporting customers in some of Asia’s fast-growing markets.
In Taiwan, she met with colleagues from Granite River Labs (GRL), following our acquisition of the company earlier this year, which consolidated SGS leadership in Digital Trust for products.
In Guangzhou, Géraldine visited our SGS-exclusive fire safety lab, where teams test consumer products and their digital and connected components, supporting customers in areas including cybersecurity and functional safety.
Géraldine’s time in Vietnam provided an opportunity to tour our recently opened Hai Phong lab and meet with our local teams which are fully dedicated to best-in-class service to our customers.
Across these visits, the focus was on our teams, our capabilities and how we can continue to support customers as technology and their needs evolve, while advancing our Digital Trust Strategy across the region.
