GRAND PRIZE WINNER OF THE TLC 2026 INTERNATIONAL GRAPHIC DESIGN CONTEST by Wisdom Foundation 🎊🎊🎊🎊

Once again, a determined graphic designer took up the challenge and doubled his chances by submitting 2 designs for this contest. Coincidentally, his first submission came in 4th place just like the winner for last year. This tells you about one unique advantage of this contest. One person can actually win both 1st and 2nd Cash Prizes. We evaluate per design not per designer. Therefore, one designer can fill up all 5 top positions 😁. What a contest! He increased his chances and it paid off. His second and last design became the winning design for this contest. Imagine if he had not challenged himself to submit another design!

Some of the criteria used by the selection committee for the judgement include:

WHO TOOK SECOND PLACE IN THE TLC2026 INTERNATIONAL GRAPHIC DESIGN CONTEST?

We are excited that many young people are shining their light in this domain as per the vision of TLC. This project seeks to discover, groom and promote the greatness in the African youth. The design contest always comes to pave the way for the talent hunt that will mark the uniqueness of each edition in over 13 categories as the biggest youth exhibition in the nation.

Every competition has its rules that eliminates some candidates. Some contestants got disqualified from the preliminaries after submitting their cool designs but could not meet up with the other rules of the contest. Others felt the accompanying tasks were too much. Some others felt like they shouldn't have to follow our rules and so they made up theirs as they went along. A few submitted late so did not have time to follow up with what came next, which made up 30% of points to be earned etc. All these were to set a standard and build an excellent spirit in our people. Every task had a purpose and I am glad in the midst of it all, we had our amazing top 3 who braved the odds and stood out among the list of contestants.

Wisdom Foundation is an apolitical, non-denominational and non-profit civil society organization located in Buea, created to drive sustainable development in Cameroon through proper youth empowerment, volunteerism, entrepreneurship and education by organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, vocational trainings etc. We have delivered many youth empowerment programs for over 14 years now and one of our biggest annual projects is THE LIGHT CONVENTION. Since 2022, we decided to not announce the top 3 only as we did previously. This is because the competition gets stiffer each year and the stakes get higher. So even the top 10 are worth celebrating. We are looking forward to such a time.

Let us therefore celebrate this outstanding young creative, promote his skill, patronize him and make his work known to the world. As we all know, the TLC DESIGN CONTEST has become an international contest.
