THE END RESULT OF THE THINGS WE STRONGLY DESIRE 🏠 🚘 💰 💃

There is a sense in which ARTHUR Schopenhauer was right when he said humanity wallows between two extremes of Despair and Boredom.

We desire things on a daily basis - fame, money, mansions, fancy cars etc, and we dedicate our time, thoughts and energy pursuing them without reflecting how self destructive it may be.

Our desires breed expectations, expectations can lead to frustration when we finally don’t get what we desire, creating room for Despair (pain). When we get what we desire, the joy is often brief. We somehow realize how meaningless the pursuit was, this often leads to a feeling of Boredom. The effect of boredom is that we start desiring other things (repeating the same cycle).

This does not in anyway suggest that desiring something and pursing it is bad, but we must pause from time to time and reflect on that which we desire.

The paradox of this life is that in pursing things we think will make us happy, we set ourselves up in a perpetual struggle to reconcile two opposing extremes.

It’s good to desire good things and pursue them but no matter how much of it we gather, we WON’T feel self-fulfilled if it doesn’t touch on the lives of others, especially the vulnerable people in our society.

It makes sense that a good number of people who amass wealth during their lifetime end up donating a greater percentage of it to charity.

CONTENTMENT IN LIFE COMES MOSTLY FROM THE THINGS WE CANT SEE. 🙏🐊

Some people smile with you, show their bright teeth, but inside their heart is totally dark with envy and jealousy. May the ALMIGHTY guide us from such people 🙏🐊

Almighty, on this blessed day, grant us peace of mind and relieve the anxiety and stress we experience in our daily lives. Give us clarity of mind to do what’s best. Guide us through this path of life which is often paved with many obstacles. Let peace reign in our hearts. AMEN 🙏🐊

THE BEST APPROACH TO WORRY OR HARDSHIP 👏🏻

You may be going through a tough situation that is forcing you to doubt God. That’s normal for us as humans; to question our faith when troubles hit. That’s the wrong approach!!! The right way is to trust him more during times of hardship or lack.

Hardships are in our life as tests from the Almighty. They breed endurance, endurance breeds hope and hope builds faith. It’s then faith that makes everything work out for us.

So when you are faced with hardship, the best thing to do is to be patient and wait for God’s timing.

Recall the story of the miracle Jesus’ performed in Cana (John 2:1-12) ?? His mom came to him to complain about the wine shortage but Jesus who happened to be aware of the situation was undisturbed because he knew there is a perfect time. Mary his mom also showed faith and patience, she had no doubt that at the right time his son will change the situation. We understand this because she instructed the servants at the occasion to do whatever Jesus says. Her faith in right timing eventually yield something beautiful as we see that six hundred litters of the best wine 🍷 was made available.

When you feel like your “jar of wine” 🏺 is empty, that’s not the time to give in to worry. It’s time to trust God for a miracle. He already promised that at the right time he will make it happen (Isaiah 60:22)

*Have faith that he will take away that sickness at the right time.
*Have faith that he will supply your needs at the right time
*Have faith that he will do away with whatever is troubling you.

HE NEVER FAILS, HE IS NEVER LATE, HE IS THE BEST PLANNER. 🙏🐊
