So, at 125,461, I finished a very rough first draft of my literary fiction (one which I still haven't gotten a name for). Even funnier, I realized taht I wanted to add a proper epilogue which means that I need to sit down and make a full family tree of the main and major characters. Now that I got that out of the way (four days or so), I'm going to have to go back and do a hell of all of editing and revising. 🤣😂🤣

Day 12 of my New Zealand Trip (I didn't do anything for the eleventh day; I was WAAAY too tired)
So! A little known thing about me: I love tattoos. When I was eighteen, I made it my mission to get one. 2014, I did that. Then, it turned into two...then four....then...well...you can see where this is going. Now, as of August 2024, I have ten tattoos.
1. My favorite quote from my second favorite game (FF13) - in Japanese: "Make the impossible possible". It's a personal mantra of mine. Yes! I tripled check and the artist - at the time - tripled check.
2. Same game. The trademark L'Cie brand to say that God/fal'cie gave me a "focus" to complete. If I complete it, I will obtain eternal life/happiness.
3. FF7 logo
4. (above) Tri-force from Legend of Zelda. I outlined it blue to represent the Triforce of Wisdom since I use Zelda ALOT in the Smash Bros series.
4. (below) Espeon. My favorite pokemon of all time.
5. (above) People thought it was the Olympics, but it's not. It's actually regarding my 2023 book, "SInful Tales of Wicked Vile Delights". The rings/colors represent the seven deadly sins with the year being its release date.
5. (below) In 2020, I did a Short Story Project to get all those stories out of my head and on paper. Plus, it was the pandemic and I HAD to keep busy. So, when the first short story was released, I rewarded myself with a tattoo.
6. (above) FFX - my favorite Final Fantasy. Out of all the aeons, Shiva is my favorite, so I got her glyph.
6. (below) Milotic. My favorite water pokemon.
In New Zealand, I wanted to get another tattoo - just because. I already had the idea of getting a panther because it's my favorite animal. The artist was a good-hearted Chilean man () and - when I showed him the first picture - he smiled and told me that the tattoo was doable...but not for my chest. He told me that my chest was too small for and it would look better on my arm. So, he helped picked a better one. It looked great, but it hurt like a bitch. My friends purposely neglected to tell me that a chest tattoo hurts way more than an arm tattoo, because they knew how I feel about pain and needle. Afterwards, we spoke about many many things ranging from culture, life in NZ/Philly, and art. A very productive day. Haha!

Part 3 of Day 7-8 of my New Zealand Trip which dives into Day 9-10
More Maori artwork and the spent the weekend in Wellington for the All-Black vs. Argentina game. I have to thank my boss for this. He knew I've never seen a rugby game before and helped me to make it happen. It was electric, and the old couple next to me was so kind in answering all of my questions. I'm definitely going to buy a book on rugbyand adjust my ESPN app for this amazing sport. I wish I found out about this sooner. Also, I got to see my first authentic Haka. I didn't record the match because of the obvious (I was watching the match - hard).

Part 1 of Day 7-8 of my New Zealand Trip
I took the next two days to visit the local art museums. That was actually the second thing on my iternary when planning my trip; K Road was definitely #1 on my list. Anyway, I went to the big one before checking out the other smaller ones. The pieces were beautiful and ended up spending the entire day in and around the area. As an added bonus, one of the Maori secruity guards were super accomodating when talking about what to check out - both in and out of the gallery. I must to say...I can see why Maoris are so attractive. Their tranquil voices are oddly intoxicating.

Day 5 of my New Zealand Trip
A day of rest...sort of. I saw a VR Experience and I wanted to give it a good shot. It was wonderful to hear that it's a family establishment (always support family businesses). They recommended I tried Outbreak (zombie game) - which I did - and quit almost immediately. I circled back and picked Singularity, a sci-fi shooter, and found it to be more of my speed. I would love to make stories for VR, but need to find the right approach for it. After I had my fun, I simply walked around the city and just took in the night life.

Day 1-3 of my New Zealand
The flight to Auckland had been done and tiresome, but the first three days was amazing. I got in at night and just talked to everybody at the hostel. The following day, I simply walked around the city to get the lay of the land. Then, on the third day, I went on my first hiking adventure. Edge Mount was short, but beautiful. I already have a few hiking adventures set for the following days. I ended the third day by going to K Road (Auckland's gay village) and made a stop to The Eagle Bar, which was freaking amazing.
