Cypriot ceramic sculptor Maria Kyprianou will participate in ART.Cy’s upcoming group exhibition The Masks We Wear, taking place on 24–25 October 2026 at the Aphrodite Amathusia Cultural Centre in Limassol.

Kyprianou’s artistic practice explores the expressive potential of ceramics, with a distinctive approach to clay and large-scale sculpture. Born in 1977 in Limassol, Cyprus, she developed an early passion for art, particularly painting, before shifting her focus to sculpture.

Her work is recognized for its captivating female figures, often drawing inspiration from mythology and fairytales. Through masterful clay techniques, she brings to life expressive forms that merge tradition with contemporary artistic vision.

Cypriot contemporary figurative artist Aristos Christoforou will participate in ART.Cy’s upcoming group exhibition The Masks We Wear, taking place on 24–25 October 2026 at the Aphrodite Amathusia Cultural Centre in Limassol.

Christoforou’s artistic practice explores the powerful relationship between the human form, movement and emotion. Drawing inspiration from classical art and mythology, he combines traditional techniques with contemporary surrealism to create striking compositions that exist between realism and abstraction. Through expressive gestures, dynamic figures and rich textures in oil and charcoal, his work invites viewers to reflect on identity, resilience and transformation.

The Masks We Wear will take place on Saturday, 24 October and Sunday, 25 October 2026, from 11:00 to 20:00, at the Aphrodite Amathusia Cultural Centre in Limassol.

American artist Jai Mitchell will participate in ART.Cy’s upcoming group exhibition The Masks We Wear, taking place on 24–25 October 2026 at the Aphrodite Amathusia Cultural Centre in Limassol.

Mitchell’s practice is deeply rooted in the emotional and psychological dimensions of painting. Drawing from personal history and lived experience, he creates layered abstractions and emotionally charged compositions that explore trauma, resilience, vulnerability and spiritual renewal. For Mitchell, painting becomes more than a visual medium: it is a process of healing, self-examination and self-reclamation.

The Masks We Wear will take place on Saturday, 24 October and Sunday, 25 October 2026, from 11:00 to 20:00, at the Aphrodite Amathusia Cultural Centre in Limassol.

On Thursday, 15 October 2026, ART.Cy will present its first professional training programme for artists and cultural organisations at the Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol.

The one-day masterclass is designed for artists, galleries, museums, foundations and other organisations seeking to strengthen their visibility, reach new audiences and use digital channels more strategically.

Participants will explore the essential elements of digital marketing, from positioning and audience development to websites, search visibility, content, email campaigns and paid advertising. The programme combines practical instruction with international case studies and hands-on workshops.

The group exhibition, The Masks We Wear, explores identity, memory and the hidden selves that shape our lives. Through different artistic perspectives and visual languages, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the roles we adopt, the identities we reveal and conceal, and the complex relationship between our inner and outer selves.
