We define this part of the doctrine as “Political Islam”. We analyze Islamic primary doctrine, and its continuous, harmful political impact on individuals and governments. We use scientific methods, rational thought and fact-based reasoning to show how the influence of Political Islam exponentially spreads within non-Islamic countries, creating the economic, legal and sociocultural foundation to turn them into Islamic ones. CSPII informs and educates about the existential threat Political Islam poses to our civilizations with the aim to peacefully prevent its domination over people’s lives.
This video was filmed at The Oculus in New York City, right next to Ground Zero. Hanging in the Oculus is the flag of Saudi Arabia, which features the Shahada — the Islamic declaration of faith: “There is no god but Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet / messenger.”
The doctrine of violent jihad [1] found in the Koran (the words of Allah), the Sira (Mohammed’s biography), and the Hadith (Mohammed’s traditions) was the direct motivation for the killing of nearly 3,000 people on 9/11 2001 — the largest jihad attack on U.S. soil. Almost one third of the Islamic primary doctrine (Koran, Sira, and Hadith) is devoted to jihad [2].

This video examines New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s past as a rapper. In one of his songs [1] , he expressed his love for the convicted jihadis known as the "Holy Land Five", who were sentenced to up to 65 years in prison for terrorism-related crimes. He makes other statements on Islamic political migration (hijra) [2] , all placed in the context of the largest jihad [3] attack on U.S. soil: the 9/11 jihad attack.
The paradox is that the new NYC Mayor Mamdani adheres to the same doctrine found in the Koran (the words of Allah) and the Sunna (the example of Mohammed), which was the direct motivation for the killing of nearly 3,000 people, most of them in New York City in 2001. The Koran — on which he swore his oath of office [4] — dedicates 9% of its text to jihad [5] .

Two recent articles attempt to calm American concerns about Sharia by changing the subject.
The first, Salam Al-Marayati’s “Sharia is a framework for Muslims — not a threat to America,” [1] presents Sharia as a spiritual and moral path, a set of ethical objectives supposedly aligned with the U.S. Constitution. The second, “Why this evangelical pastor rejects fear of Shariah,” [2] co-authored with Pastor Jon Fogel, adds an interfaith layer: the Muslim family next door is kind, trustworthy, generous, and loving, and therefore Christians should reject “fear” of Sharia.
The argument is emotionally attractive. It is also evasive.
No serious critic of Political Islam [3] argues that every Muslim neighbor is a threat, that Islamic families cannot be kind, or that Muslims should be denied the right to pray, fast, give charity, attend mosques, raise families, or live freely under US law. That is a false frame. The real question is not whether Muslims may practice Islam privately without disruption of public life or limiting others by doing so. In America, of course they may. The real question is whether Sharia, as a legal and political doctrine, is accurately described when it is reduced to neighborliness, compassion, “moral objectives,” and constitutional loyalty.

CSPII FGM INDEX draws on more data sources than other assessments of FGM, such as UNICEF’s. Here are some findings from CSPII’s FGM INDEX 2026:
◾ 297–307 million women and girls alive today have undergone female ge***al mutilation (FGM). This amounts to one in every thirteen women and girls alive today.
◾ 85% of this FGM is attributable to Muslim populations.
◾ Immigration from FGM-practising Islamic countries has introduced FGM to countries hitherto unaffected. There are, for example, 577,000 victims in the USA, 161,000 in Canada and 139,000 in France. In Sweden 1.3% of all girls and women are affected.
Muslim girls and women are the primary victims of FGM because Islamic doctrine supports FGM.
Many organizations combatting FGM deny any connection between Islamic doctrine and FGM. This puts at risk the lives, health and welfare of millions of women and girls since no solution is effective that does not take into account the true causes of a problem. It is our hope that CSPII’s annual FGM INDEX, by highlighting the gravity of the problem and by exposing links between Islamic doctrine and FGM, will contribute to a better understanding of the nature and causes of FGM, and thereby help eliminate this grave violation of the dignity and rights of children, and the women they grow up to be.

Lily Jay’s piece about the “secret letter” [1] allegedly written by Mohammed to Christians is a good example of a growing genre of Islamic apologetics aimed at Western Christian audiences: take a nice-sounding fragment, remove the surrounding legal and political tradition, and present it as proof that Islam has always been about protection, tolerance, and, religious freedom.
The document she refers to is usually known as the Ashtiname [2] , or the Covenant of Mohammed with the Monks of Mount Sinai (St. Catherine’s Monastery). In popular Islamic apologetics, it is presented as a sweeping charter of Christian protection: churches are not to be destroyed, monks are not to be forced from their monasteries, Christian women are not to be compelled in marriage, and Muslims are supposedly obligated to defend Christians.
The problem is not that such a document is uninteresting. It is very interesting. The problem is that Lily Jay’s presentation turns a disputed historical document into a propaganda shortcut.
First, the “secret letter” is not secret. It has circulated for centuries, appears in interfaith literature, and is routinely invoked by Islamic apologists and Christian-Muslim dialogue activists. Calling it “secret” gives the viewer the emotional thrill of discovering hidden truth, when in reality the document is part of a long-running controversy over authenticity, transmission, and interpretation.
Second, the document is not simply “the exact letter” directly written by Mohammed and preserved unchanged as it may appear from Lily Jay’s presentation. It is a known fact that Mohammed was illiterate [...]

This approach clarifies the doctrinal roots of Jew-hatred and equips educators, policymakers, and communities with the knowledge needed to uphold Australian values while protecting social cohesion.

The Royal Commission is established by Letters Patent [1] issued by the Governor-General in the name of King Charles III, as the Crown, which constitutes the formal source of legal authority. An Australian Royal Commission is a high-level public inquiry, comparable to a U.S. Presidential Commission or a special congressional investigation, but with significantly stronger legal powers. These independent bodies are led by appointed experts and can compel witnesses to testify and require the production of documents to investigate major national scandals or systemic failures. While they cannot themselves convict individuals, their final reports often prompt legislative reform and may lead to criminal prosecutions.
