On our way back to Australia after a great time visiting Andertons Music Company in the UK, GUITAR SUMMIT - Europe’s Biggest Guitar Show Thomann Roma Modulare and seeing some of our wonderful dealers. I also went to a little tool shop on Switzerland... We'll post more videos and pictures of Hugo in the next weeks before the pre order. It's our first ever show in Italy! We'll be putting up some new pretty pictures of Hugo soon including of the IP67 flight cases that ever unit comes in.

So my wonderful girlfriend surprised me with pedal cakes for the Poly 10 year celebrations. Look at how cute the Beebo and Kanso are too! Luckily Hugo isn't out yet or we'd have too much cake.

It's been 10 years since Poly launched and we've never had a sale, so for our 10th birthday we're having 20% of everything on our site. We're really thankful to all the people that have been involved over the years, either enjoying our instruments, talking about them, or involved in making them. It's been a long and exciting journey so far and we're very excited about the next 10 years. We've got big plans for the rest of this year too!

If you're not already on Firmware 407 for Beebo & Hector it is up now. I'm happy that people are still interested in Beebo, it's been a while since I first showed it in 2018. In the photo you can see 3 eras of Beebo running the latest firmware. We haven't been selling Beebos for the last few years after parts availability became an issue but we're keen to keep them going.

The key issue this update fixes is with file system degradation over time. Due to some quantum space magic called read disturb, a read only file system will change after you’ve read it enough times. This happens after 4-7 years with Beebo, so this suddenly became a major (and amazingly hard to fix) issue. This fix swaps to a filesystem that can cope with this and automatically heals itself. The main symptom of the problem is Beebo / Hector not starting up.
