We are responsible for representing the method of Rolfing® Structural Integration to the European community and supporting our present members.
A Rolfer® must be a member of our association in order to be certified to practice Rolfing in Europe. The European Rolfing® Association e.V. (ERA) is a non-profit organisation with headquarters in Munich, Germany. Founded in 1991 for the benefit of all Certified Rolfers® practising in Europe, we are responsible for representing the profession to the European community and supporting our present members. A Rolfer must be a member of our association in order to be certified to practice Rolfing in Europe. Our school, Dr Ida Rolf Institute® Europe is responsible for the formation of new practitioners and continuing education. We provide representation of all our members for the mutual benefit of the health conscious public and practicing Rolfers™. We market ourselves to the widest possible audience and are currently engaged in four key missions.
1. While actively maintaining development, training and scientific co-operation with our parent organisation The Rolf Institute® of Structural Integration (Boulder, CO/USA), we seek independence as a semi-independent institute representing all Rolfers™ in Europe.
2. We seek an enhanced level of flexibility within the ERA education system, supported by an independent European faculty. We aim to extend our training options, including teaching in local languages, while ensuring our exceptional standards are maintained.
3. We are engaging in a strategic marketing and communications programme to promote Rolfing® Structural Integration as an outstanding contributor to the growing and increasingly important holistic and preventative health field.
4. We continue to operate for the benefit of our members as a service organisation. We guide, educate, and offer practical advice. The establishment of networking, mentoring and supervision systems are measures to assist us in maintaining and exceeding the high standards expected of Rolfing® practitioners and clients worldwide.

You can't recognise change until you're aware of where you started.
Many of our daily habits are so familiar that we no longer notice them. The way we stand, walk and move becomes automatic, often without us realising it.
Dr. Ida Rolf believed that becoming aware of these habits is the first step towards change. This will allow us to discover new possibilities for moving with greater ease and freedom.
🌿 This is where Rolf Movement™ comes in.
Through guided exploration, body awareness and a deeper understanding of how the body organises itself in gravity, Rolf Movement™ can help people recognise habitual movement patterns, understand how they influence everyday life, and explore more efficient and effortless ways of moving.

🎉 Congratulations to our newly certified Level 1 – Myofascial Foundation graduates in Munich!
Together with instructor Kathrin Grobelnik and assistant Marcel Teeuw, they have successfully completed the first stage of their training in Rolfing® Structural Integration.
By earning their Myofascial Foundation Certificate, they are now eligible to continue to Level 2, bringing them one important step closer to becoming a Certified Rolfer®.
Congratulations to all our graduates! We wish you every success as you continue your training and look forward to welcoming many of you back to future courses.

Congratulations to our students! Our German-language Level 2 course in Rolfing® Structural Integration has come to a successful close - filled with hands-on practice, learning, movement and meaningful connections.
Over the past months, students have explored the Rolfing® Ten Series step by step, practising the sessions, reflecting on their experiences and working with their first clients.
Now it's time for the final stretch: Level 3, the last stage on the journey to becoming a Certified Rolfer®, starts soon!
