Ornithology Learning in Action 🐦🌿

During Week 3 of the summer program, participants explored bird observation and conservation education using materials prepared through the joint SCCS Project.

The session gave young learners a hands-on opportunity to use binoculars, observe birds in the field, and connect with Dominica’s wildlife and natural environment.

EcoBalance is pleased to share this moment of youth learning and conservation awareness.

EcoBalance Inc has marked an important implementation milestone for the Sisserou Conservation with Civil Society (SCCS) Project through the signing of contracts with project consultants.

The project is implemented with Caribaea Initiative, in collaboration with the Dominica's Forestry, Wildlife & Parks Division , and funded by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund.

Through this partnership, the SCCS Project supports conservation action for Dominica’s Sisserou Parrot by strengthening research, capacity building, and community engagement.

Together, we continue working to protect one of Dominica’s most iconic species and the ecosystems that sustain it.
