🔷️ The Fact-Checking Unit of the MEIDI Initiative has detected a coordinated and intensive disinformation campaign across social media platforms.
The campaign alleges that a sectarian assault occurred inside an Egyptian school, while deliberately withholding all foundational data, including the name of the school, the educational administration, the governorate, and the exact timing of the incident.
🔷 Through comprehensive screening utilizing multiple digital verification and OSINT tools, the following has been established:
● Total Absence of Any Official Record:
Neither the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education, its provincial directorates, nor security authorities have issued any statement regarding an incident of this magnitude.
This is highly anomalous in public opinion matters or school-related incidents, which typically trigger official investigations and public statements.
■ Absolute Silence from Credible Media and News Agencies:
No reputable local or international news organizations have published or referenced the claim.
This underscores the complete absence of on-the-ground sources or independent evidence to support the circulating narrative.
🚨 Deconstructing Patterns of Systematic Manipulation and Distortion:

Advanced OSINT search strings across social media networks revealed that the claim was disseminated within highly compressed, identical timeframes, utilizing verbatim text or machine-translated versions in several languages.
This synchronized and systematic distribution indicates an organized effort to digitally amplify the content, expanding its reach to audiences outside the local context who lack the requisite tools to verify internal Egyptian affairs.
Furthermore, it was noted that the distributors of this misleading content deliberately ignored corrections provided by users in the comments sections.
This demonstrates a clear lack of intent to correct the record, focusing instead on maximizing engagement and fueling polarization.

🔷️ Egypt has achieved qualitative leaps in several global indices and rankings related to road quality, as well as the efficiency of seaport and dry port operations.
● In the maritime transport sector, the East Port Said Port ranked third globally and first regionally in the Container Port Performance Index (CPPI) for 2024, issued by the World Bank.
Additionally, the Alexandria Port secured the 90th position globally in the One Hundred Container Ports 2025 list issued by Lloyd’s List.
This underlines the success of development, modernization, and operational efficiency upgrade plans, as well as the capacity to accommodate mega-vessels.
■ In the same context, the Damietta Container Terminal entered the list of the world's top 100 container handling terminals for the year 2023.
