Where trobat meets trobar.

trobat is our world of art, design and collected objects. trobar is where that world comes to life — a space to eat, drink, gather and experience the collection in situ.

Two distinct concepts, connected by the same idea: discovering pieces, people and stories worth finding.

Visit us in Cala Ratjada and experience both under one roof.

CASA TROBAT, 2023

An early expression of Trobat’s curatorial world.

Guided by founder and head curator Dolli Taylor, Casa Trobat brought together art, design and objects chosen for their craftsmanship, character and story.

A space shaped by the art of finding and the belief that the pieces we surround ourselves with should mean something.

Trobat means “found” in Catalan.

A little reintroduction to trobat
from the person behind it

In Part 1 of our FAQ, founder & curator Dolli Taylor takes us back to the idea at the heart of trobat: discovery

A platform for emerging artistic talent, built around unexpected connections between art, design, food and the people creating them

From pieces made to live with, eat from and interact with, to giving artists, chefs and designers the space to experiment and reach new audiences

This is the story behind trobat

starting the season with something playful, soulful, and full of imagination.

welcoming Isle of Moon to trobat.

created by ceramist Stefanie Ahlstrom, Isle of Moon is a small world of ceramic beings born between Mallorca and Stockholm. with a background in outdoor apparel design, Stefanie spent a decade creating garments for Scandinavian winters before finding a different path in clay, one that led her away from office politics and into a fantasy world of friendly, curious forms.

each piece is one of a kind, carefully patterned, crafted, and dressed in glazes Stefanie develops herself in her characteristically happy colours. made with precision, then released into the heat of the firing, her porcelain beings soften, shift, and find their own shape — moving from total control to none.

her work lives somewhere between design, craft, and magical realism. objects with spirit, colour, and character. a reminder that the things we live with can hold humour, wonder, and a little bit of soul.
