After weeks of searching, an agent I’d already worked with called me about a 3-bed, 2-bath rental coming up in Cambrils. No advert. No photos. Completely off-market.
Alex had wanted Tarragona, but Cambrils ticked almost every box and the moment she walked in, she knew she wanted it.

Alex had her heart set on relocating to either Reus or Tarragona. But even when we were able to get her on the short list for a rental apartment, she was unable to compete with applicants who already had a Spanish work contract.
So we widened the search to include more locations that fitted the walkable lifestyle she needed for her and her daughter.

The next stop in Alex’s rental search: Segur de Calafell.
The house was enourmous compared to the small Sitges apartments we'd seen. Alex thought it looked great when I sent her the video viewing. But unfortunately the location didn’t feel right when she viewed it in-person. The property search and location have to work together for it to be the right home.

The Spanish property portal advertised the first floor rental apartment as having a lift. But when we viewed it, we discovered it hadn’t worked for years.
