For single character pieces, I do not require any sort of payment until I've delivered a sketch for you to look over and request changes. At this stage payment will be submitted and immediately confirmed upon arrival before I continue to make any changes or adjustments, color, and shade the piece for one last review stage (for color adjustments and small linework changes only). For large commissions or party pieces I do have a half up front, half upon delivery policy.
