Last April we were filming with in Girona. She had just come off one of the most impressive debuts ever in long course racing, winning the T100 in Singapore. Kate was spending just a few days in what had been her home in Banyoles, still figuring out her next steps after a challenging Olympic cycle.
We followed her around the area during her training, in a documentary-style approach while shooting this film, and we were captivated by her approach to life, her relentless commitment, her vision, and her lifestyle.
Kate ended last season as one of the most dominant athletes in the world of triathlon… and it feels like this story is only just beginning.
