Dear Amazing Human, YOU ARE AMAZING !!!
But do you ever tell yourself that?
Because whatever you repeatedly tell your brain, it starts to believe. The good news? You can retrain it.
We are not born sleeping badly, living in constant stress, or believing we will never feel better. The brain learns patterns, habits, thoughts, and reactions, and what has been learned can also be unlearned. This is exactly what my method is built around.
For years, many people have told themselves that they are “bad sleepers,” that stress is simply part of life, or that waking up at three in the morning is simply who they are now. But the brain is incredibly adaptable. It changes constantly. Scientists call it neuroplasticity. I call it hope.
Every thought you repeat, every habit you practice, and every small action you take sends signals to your brain. The more often those signals are repeated, the stronger those pathways become. That is why simply telling yourself to “relax” rarely works.
Real change happens when we gently retrain the nervous system, create new associations, and teach the brain that it is safe to let go, rest, and reset.
My method is not about quick fixes or forcing sleep. It is about understanding how your brain and body work together and helping them find their way back to balance, one thought, one night, and one small step at a time.
So ask yourself: What are you teaching your brain to believe about you today?

Dear Amazing Human
There is something magical about waking up to the sound of water. This week, from my balcony in the Stockholm archipelago, I watched the boats at the dock or slowly pass by while listening to the clucking of the waves against the boardwalk. Before my mind had even fully woken up, my body already felt calmer.
Water has that effect on us. Long before we consciously realize it, the sound, the movement, and the feeling of water begin to calm our nervous system. Maybe that is why so many of us feel lighter near the ocean, more peaceful by a lake, or somehow different after a long shower.
Water is one of the keys to better living. Not only because we need it for hydration, but because it cleanses, restores, and resets us , our body and soul. We find it in the ocean, in the pool, in a warm bath, or even in the few quiet moments we steal for ourselves under the shower.
The sounds matter. The feeling matters. The warmth, the coolness, the rhythm, the way water moves across our skin—it reminds our bodies to slow down, breathe, and let go.
This is part of the Sleep Plan Method: using simple, everyday rituals to calm the nervous system and create moments of restoration for both body and mind.
So tell me, what will your choice of water be today? The ocean, the pool, a bath, or perhaps simply a quiet shower?

Hi beautiful humans ♥️
One of the most important things I have learned over the years is that sleep and health is not only about what time you go to bed or how many hours you get. It is also about the people, conversations, and energies you choose to surround yourself with.
The people we spend time with can calm our nervous system, lower our stress levels, and give us a deep sense of safety and belonging. A good conversation, laughter with a friend, or simply sitting with someone who truly sees you can have a beautiful effect on both your sleep and your overall health.
At the same time, not every connection is good for us. Learning to say, “I can’t today,” “I need a break,” or “This doesn’t feel right for me,” is sometimes one of the kindest things we can do for ourselves.
As I am (still) growing up, I realize that not every disagreement needs a discussion and not every situation needs an explanation. Sometimes, peace comes from accepting that people are on different journeys. Let them do what they do, but you do you.
Protect your energy and save it for the people who love you, support you, and challenge you to become stronger, always with kindness. Social connection can improve sleep by lowering stress and creating a sense of safety, but loneliness, relationship stress, late nights, and endless scrolling can keep the body in a state of alertness long after we should be resting.
Learning to listen to your body and all the signals it sends you throughout the day is a process. That is exactly why I created The Sleep Plan Method, The Sleep Plan book, and The Sleep Reset app: not simply to tell you what to do, but to teach you how to do it.
For fourteen days, the app helps you build healthier habits and routines while reconnecting with your body and understanding what it truly needs.
I am not only your coach. I am your confidant, your guide, and your biggest cheerleader.
Choose people who make you feel lighter, calmer, and more yourself. Your nervous system, your sleep, and your health will thank you for it.

Where is the best place you’ve ever slept away from home?
For years, my clients have asked me the same question: “Christina, where should I stay if I actually want to sleep well?” As I’ve travelled, and have been staying in Airbnbs, boutique hotels and beautiful homes around the world, I realized something… we review the food, the location and the design, but what about the quality of our sleep?
When I started sharing this idea, the response was incredible. It made me realise this deserves its own guide.
So, I’m creating The Sleep Havens by Christina Ribel. A collection of places where travellers can discover their next haven. Not simply because they’re beautiful, but because they leave you feeling rested, recharged and already wanting to come back.
So this year I’ll personally handpick a small number of exceptional Airbnbs and boutique stays to experience through the eyes of a Sleep Coach. My hope is that, over time, The Sleep Havens will become a trusted guide that people turn to when they’re looking for somewhere truly special to stay.
If you own an Airbnb, boutique hotel or unique stay and feel your place could become one of The Sleep Havens, I’d love to hear from you. I have a feeling this is only the beginning of a beautiful ”sleepship”
DM me and let’s continue this dialogue of sleep together.
So excited!!!

Is your sleep tracker helping you sleep… or making you more worried about your sleep?
I know this might sound controversial, but one of my first recommendations for many sleep clients is surprisingly simple: get the ring off for a while.
And before you think I am against technology, I am not. Sleep rings, watches, and apps can be amazing tools. But I have started noticing something more and more. We are tracking everything: our steps, our recovery, our sleep stages, our stress levels. But are we still listening to ourselves?
I see clients waking up and checking their phone, their sleep app, or their ring before they even check in with their own body. Suddenly a number decides how they should feel. “I only got a 65.” “My deep sleep was too low.” “My score says I didn’t sleep well.” But what if your body feels good? What if you actually feel rested?
There is even a term called orthosomnia, which describes when the obsession with achieving the “perfect” sleep score creates anxiety around sleep and can make sleeping harder.
Sometimes the biggest reset is not adding another tool. Sometimes it is reconnecting with yourself. Your rhythm. Your patterns. Your body’s signals.
The Sleep Plan is not about chasing perfect numbers. But knowing where you start on your sleep Journey is a great way to start for some, but after It is about understanding yourself, learning what your body is telling you, and building trust with your own sleep again.
Because your body has been communicating with you your whole life. Sometimes we just need to start listening.

My journey as a Sleep Planner and Reiki Therapist.
Over the years, I have learned again and again that sleep is not just about sleep.
It is about the whole human being. Our nervous system, our emotions, our body, our thoughts, our fascia, our energy, and the way we move through life.
Through my own journey and the creation of The Sleep Plan Method, I discovered that true rest is about so much more than the hours we spend in bed. It is about learning to listen to ourselves again.
As a Reiki Therapist, I don’t believe I alone heal another person. I believe each of us carries an incredible inner wisdom and an ability to heal when the right conditions are created.
My role is to hold a safe space where your nervous system can soften, energy can flow, and you can reconnect with yourself.
I have always been sensitive to energy. Over the years, I have learned to trust it, understand it, and work with it. Together with sleep science, movement, fascia, breathing, coaching, and Reiki, it has become part of my own method of supporting others. I thank my Reiki master for showing me how Nelly 🙏🏻
I don’t believe in quick fixes.
I believe in walking alongside you, helping you slow down, listen to your body, reconnect with yourself, and find your own way back to balance.
Because sleep, healing, movement, fascia, breath, and energy are all connected.
And sometimes, coming home to yourself is the greatest healing of all.

Hi Beautiful Human,
“There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.”
That is something my mom always used to say when I was growing up between Denmark and Germany.
Living there teaches you very quickly that the weather is impossible to predict. One day feels like summer, the next like winter. It reminds me of Forrest Gump’s famous saying, “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.”
Maybe the weather is a little like that too.
As I became a sleep coach and studied how our bodies respond to light and our internal clock, I realised my mom’s saying was only part of the story.
Yes, there is bad weather. There is really bad clothing. But there are also habits that either support us or work against us, especially during the darker months.
Many people experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Others may not have SAD but still notice they sleep differently, have less energy, crave more sugar, struggle with motivation, or simply don’t feel like themselves when daylight becomes scarce.
The good news is that while we can’t control the weather outside, we can support the weather inside.
Get outside, even on cloudy days. Protect your sleep routine. Move your body. Nourish yourself well. Give your nervous system the signals it needs to feel safe, balanced, and energised.
Instead of asking, “What is the weather doing?” try asking, “How am I caring for myself through every kind of weather?”
Because wellness isn’t built only on sunny days. It’s built in every season, through the small choices we make every single day.
If you feel like your sleep, energy, or daily rhythm could use a little reset, send me the word RESET in a message or comment on post. If it resonates like, SHARE and comment on post.
I have a little something I’d love to share with you as a thank you for taking a moment to care for yourself (and read this post 😜)
Sleep well. Live well. Feel well.
