The world's attention moves on so quickly, and yet the suffering lingers long after the cameras have been trained elsewhere. So it was good this morning to talk to Maryna Rudenko of Ukraine's "Voices of Children", which provides psychosocial and psychological support for traumatised children – who are innocent victims in any and every war.

We're looking forward to working with Voices of Children as part of ProZ Pro Bono.

This week's ProZ Pro Bono Volunteer of the Week is Yared Hailemichael Belay from Ethiopia, who has helped us on a wide variety of texts into Amharic (one of the major Ethiopian languages) and Tigrinya (spoken predominantly in Eritrea.

The linguistic tasks he takes on include translation, transcribing, subtitling, editing, proofreading, linguistic testing, voice coaching or voice work, and quality assurance checks in both languages. He's a multi-skilled, reliable and talented freelance translator with a proven ability.

And we're lucky and grateful to have such a professional onboard!
