Can you renovate a home in Marbella while living abroad?

Bahía Marbella was one of those projects. The owners were living abroad while their family home was completely reimagined by Zoco Home Interior Design Studio, from the layout to the spaces they would share together.

A renovation shaped around how they wanted to live 🖤

Three Marbella homes. Three different starting points.

A family home with new possibilities. A property that needed a more considered approach. A dark interior waiting for more light.

Different homes, different needs, different ways of bringing their potential to life 🖤

Bahía Marbella | Designed around family life

The entire layout was reimagined around how the family wanted to live. Connected living spaces, new bedrooms and a basement transformed into a space for wellness and entertainment.

Golden Mile Felicia | Knowing what to change

This renovation wasn’t about changing everything. The focus was on targeted improvements, from opening the kitchen to creating a new master suite, additional en-suite bedroom and improved outdoor spaces.

El Señorío de Marbella | Letting the light in

A darker interior became brighter and more connected to its surroundings through a new approach to layout, materials and natural light.

Suar wood has a way of grounding a space.

Its distinctive grain and natural character bring warmth, texture and a quiet sense of permanence to the home.

The kind of beauty that only gets better with time 💫

An oasis within the home by Zoco Home Interior Design Studio.

The master bedroom at Golden Mile Felicia was designed as a quiet retreat, surrounded by natural textures, soft tones and Mediterranean light.

A room with room to dream.

With views stretching beyond the windows, this little corner was created as a space to pause, work, let the imagination flow and make space for new ideas.

A walk-in closet with a softer side.

Rattan, warm wood and natural textures come together to create a space that feels as beautiful as it is effortless.

Where texture takes centre stage.

Microcement, warm wood and rounded forms come together in the en-suite, creating a space that feels calm, tactile and connected to the rest of the home.

A moment to slow down.

Wrapped in microcement, the shower was designed as a simple, quiet space where the day can begin slowly or come to an end.

Golden Mile Felicia, renovated, designed and furnished by Zoco Home Interior Design Studio.

The same property could become a family home, a holiday retreat, a rental investment or a resale project.

At Zoco Home Interior Design Studio, we believe the purpose should come before the design 🌿

Define how the space is meant to be lived in, then let the design follow.

What makes a hospitality space memorable?

It’s never just the design.
It’s the feeling people take with them.
