The Ferrari 126 C arrived in 1980 with something completely new under the bodywork: a 1.5-litre turbocharged V6, developed for what would become a new era of Formula 1.
Gilles Villeneuve was one of the drivers who helped develop it, at a time when the car was still fast, difficult and constantly evolving.
It wasn’t yet the Ferrari that would win in Monaco and Spain the following year, but the direction was already clear.

The Mercedes F1 W06 Hybrid, 2015.
Its 1.6-litre turbo-hybrid power unit, advanced energy recovery system and relentless aerodynamic efficiency made it one of the benchmarks of the modern Formula 1 era.
But Monza gave those numbers a memory: Lewis Hamilton took the W06 to victory at the Italian Grand Prix, on his way to a third World Championship, while Mercedes secured another Constructors’ title.

Formula 1 brought its speed and intensity into the heart of Milan, before the weekend shifted into a completely different rhythm with our dinner at Museo Bagatti Valsecchi.
Two sides of the same experience: racing at its most visceral form, followed by an evening of history, design and timeless elegance.

Nuvolari is a legendary name, and therefore a particularly meaningful one for us. Not only because of this extraordinary car, which represents the future, but also because of the history behind that name.
A history represented by the Auto Union Type D, on display at throughout the month, the car with which Tazio Nuvolari won at Monza in 1938.
For FuoriConcorso, it is a great pleasure and a great honor to have Audi once again as a partner, with these two incredible cars, as well as with the Formula 1 car competing this weekend.

A story connecting past and present: the new Audi Nuvolari at Palazzo Melzi di Cusano, the legendary Auto Union Type D of Tazio Nuvolari in the window of Larusmiani, and the record-breaking Auto Union Lucca at Santo Spirito Space. Three different chapters, one racing heritage.
The Type D will remain on display at Larusmiani throughout the month.

Two eras. One name. One obsession.
In 1938, Tazio Nuvolari wrote history with the Auto Union Type D. In 2026, that name returns with the new Audi Nuvolari.
Almost ninety years apart, but connected by the same attitude: pushing performance, engineering and ambition beyond the ordinary.
During FuoriConcorso Monza, both cars can be discovered across the MonteNapoleone District.

Meet the new Audi Nuvolari.
A name that carries motorsport history, now reinterpreted through Audi’s latest vision of performance, technology and design.
Built to represent a new chapter for the Four Rings, the Nuvolari brings race-bred engineering into a completely new dimension.
And now, it has landed in Milan.
On display at Palazzo Melzi di Cusano, from September 2nd to 6th, for FuoriConcorso Monza.
Before the victories. Before the legend. There was the experiment.
The Ferrari 126 C was born in 1980 as Maranello began exploring a completely new Formula 1 formula: a compact 1.5-litre, 120° V6 combined with turbocharging.
Driven by Gilles Villeneuve during its development, the 126 C marked Ferrari’s transition away from the naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder era and laid the foundations for the turbocharged machines that followed.
One year later, that philosophy would take Villeneuve to victory in Monaco and Spain.
But this is where the story began.

Some Formula 1 cars win races.
Others define an era.
The Mercedes F1 W06 Hybrid belongs firmly to the second category.
In 2015, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg took it to 16 victories in 19 Grands Prix, securing Mercedes’ second consecutive Constructors’ Championship and confirming the dominance of the new turbo-hybrid generation.
A 1.6-litre turbocharged V6, hybrid energy recovery and engineering pushed relentlessly towards efficiency and performance.
Ten years later, the W06 still represents one of the clearest symbols of the Silver Arrows’ modern domination.
