Today is one of those days that truly tested my strength as a Single parent. I had everything lined up, important appointments with clients, work to do, errands to run and then, just like that, life happened 😭

My youngest daughter woke up sick, vomiting and weak, and I had no choice but to cancel everything and rush her to the hospital

My first daughter, Michelle had to go to school alone because I can’t split my self into two, I need to be with her sister at the hospital, though She’s old enough to go to school by herself, but my mind was racing with worry. I couldn’t help but put an AirTag into her bag and hand her a phone I’m tracking, just to feel a little more at ease. The anxiety of being a single parent, especially without family nearby, can be overwhelming 😭

In moments like these, I often find myself overwhelmed with emotion. The weight of motherhood can feel so heavy, especially when you’re navigating it alone without family.

I burst into tears this morning, realizing how much I wish for support, for an extra pair of hands, or just someone to share the burden with.

But as I reflect on this challenging day, I remind myself of the strength that lies within me. Every hard moment is proof of my resilience. I may be alone in this journey, but I’m not without love or determination.

So here’s to all the parents out there facing their own struggles—let’s keep pushing forward. We are stronger than we think, capable of weathering any storm. 💪❤️

One thing growth has taught me is that congratulations and support are not the same thing.

A lot of people will clap once they see the win, but very few will fill the empty seats or actually support you while you’re building.

And the ones who support you while the seats are empty are the ones who deserve a seat when the room is full…

Life is too short

Life is so private that nobody knows that the birthday we always celebrate as a plus is actually a minus. Every year we celebrate adding another year, but in reality we're also getting closer to the end.

No be everybody go be for you. And that's okay 👌

Just find that person or those few people wey genuinely love you for every damn thing you are, People wey no go fake am. People wey will stand by you, appreciate you and love you while you're still here.
