Humanists always look to evidence to understand our world, and we know climate change is upon us. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this month's meeting, especially our friends Cardiff Greenpeace and Cardiff Friends of the Earth, where we had a full house for a screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing on Wednesday . The film included evidence presented by nine leading UK scientists and experts, with the latest evidence and why it matters for things like: 🌧️ Extreme weather 🍞 Food security 🏥 Health 💷 Cost of living

Afterwards, we had some really great discussions about how climate change is already impacting our communities and what steps we can take to come together as a collective.

We're asking you to do three things:

1. Sign the petition asking the Welsh Government to take steps to organise a government-led televised briefing on the climate and nature emergency: https://petitions.senedd.wales/petitions/246951

2. Consider hosting your own NEB screening at work, or in your community: https://www.nebriefing.org/ It's really easy to do, but please feel free to message us for support.

3. Ask your MS and MP to sign the parliamentary call for a televised briefing: https://www.nebriefing.org/parliamentary-call
