Are you waking up tired, craving sugar by 10am or constantly hungryโฆ

Here are simple, balanced recipes designed for women in perimenopause with enough protein + fibre to keep you full and energised.
๐ซ Berry + Kefir
50g gluten-free oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
100ml milk of choice
50ml kefir
10g whey protein powder vanilla
80g mixed berries
๐ Banana + Peanut Butter

Small apple (grated)
1 tbsp mixed seeds or walnuts
100ml milk of choice
ยฝ tsp cinnamon
Refrigerate overnight and grab and go in the morning.
Simple. No overthinking. No skipping meals.
Because when your blood sugar is stable, everything feels easier - energy, mood, cravings, even sleep.
Save this so youโve 3 easy breakfasts ready for the week.
Which one would you actually try berry, banana or apple?
You donโt have a weight loss problemโฆ
you need to build muscle
If your body feels different latelyโฆ
itโs not a lack of effort.
Itโs a shift in your physiology.
From our 30s onwards, we naturally start to lose around 3โ8% of muscle mass per decade
and that loss accelerates through perimenopause as oestrogen declines.
๐ช Muscle isnโt just about strength or how you look
๐ Itโs your metabolic engine.
๐ It helps regulate your blood sugar
๐ It supports your energy
๐ It protect your bones
๐ It influences how you feel day to day
So when muscle declinesโฆ things start to feel harder.
Fat loss feels slower
Energy dips
Your body doesnโt respond the way it used to.
And this is where most women are given the wrong advice.
โ Eat less
โ Do more cardio
โ Try harder
But your body doesnโt need more restriction.
It needs more support.
This is why strength training is one of the most important things you can do in this phase of life.
Just 2โ3 focused sessions a week can make a meaningful difference.
This is the shift.
From trying to make your body look smallerโฆ
to supporting it to be stronger, more resilient and better nourished ๐
Follow me for evidence-based support through perimenopause.
Is it my fault I'm gaining weight in my 40s & 50s?
It not you it's your hormones changing the rules so you need to adapt to the new rules!

This month in our Menopause Support Group, weโre focusing on mental health with Margaret from AWARE joining us.
As always this is a supportive space to learn, share and feel understood.
