This year, by supporting our grotto, you’re doing so much more than simply booking a festive experience — you’re helping us make a real difference to people in our community. 💜
All proceeds go towards helping us provide bespoke sessions and opportunities for our LOTC students, people experiencing mental health difficulties, supported interns, DWP participants and university and college students gaining valuable work experience — along with many other community projects throughout the year.

🌱 Learning Outside the Classroom – A Wonderful Outcome 🌱
We were so pleased to receive this lovely feedback following a year of one-to-one Learning Outside the Classroom sessions.
It is incredibly rewarding to see the progress that can be made when a young person is given the time, patience and encouragement to develop at their own pace. Building confidence, experiencing new situations, interacting with others and developing practical skills through animal care can all be important steps towards a young person’s next chapter.
We wish him every success as he takes the next step and returns to education this term. We hope the confidence and skills he has developed during his time with us will continue to grow and support him on his journey. 💜
These outcomes mean so much to everyone at Hayrack, but especially to our dedicated mentors, who invest their time, patience and encouragement into each individual child. Seeing a young person grow in confidence and begin to believe in themselves makes all the hard work worthwhile. 🥰

🌿 Learning Outside the Classroom 🌿
We are so proud of this incredible young student, who has been fully embracing every aspect of farm life through our Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC) programme. 💚
From grooming our donkeys and goats, feeding and caring for the chickens and budgies, to enjoying plenty of cuddles with our adorable newborn animals, he has shown such enthusiasm, kindness, and a real willingness to learn.
It has been wonderful to watch his confidence, skills, and knowledge grow with every visit. Seeing young people flourish in a hands-on, supportive environment is exactly what our programme is all about, and we couldn't be prouder of the progress he has made. 🐐🐓🐣
