Another weekend of racing at Three Sisters! 🔥

FAB decided to run a different layout to the normal one Ive always run which I was looking forward to, mainly to avoid the part I crashed at the other year!

QUALIFYING:
🏁 P8
What a mix of a morning! Q1 was completely wet, so I had no idea of what times to be aiming for! Went out and finished P20. Q2 the track had part dried so went out and just went for it! Didn't get long before the red flag was pulled out and the session ended. Id managed a time good enough for P8 which left me amongst riders that would normally be ahead of me!

RACE
Had a great start to all 3 races and was trying my absolute hardest to chase but with my starting position was just defending for the rest of the weekend! Had a great battle with a bunch of riders, alot of footage on YouTube and a fantastic weekend!

Another weekend of racing with FAB Racing, this time heading to Rowrah!

One simple aim this weekend, enjoy racing! After feeling disappointed with recent results at Stretton and Ellough, I just wanted to race and enjoy it!

⏱️ QUALIFYING
Qualifying – P13
Fastest Lap – 55.890

Q1 was awful, I was slipping everywhere! Came in and realised I having alot of oil in the overflow, so much so that it was spilling onto the rear tyre!

Did an oil change and after speaking to Michael Medd made some changes to the gearing resulting in a massive improvement for Q2!

🏁 RACE 1 – P8

Rapid start from P13 making a few places off of the line and into a 4 bike battle for the most of the race! The lead bike went down into turn 2 causing us all to bunch up and I was able to make a move on the following 2 riders over the next few laps to finish in 8th!

🏁 RACE 2 – P12

Although not the most exciting to watch but was chasing Bailey for the whole race, bringing the gap down to 0.6 with 2 laps to go, getting ready to make a move the bike started to have issues, it felt like fueling but turned out to be electrical! I managed to limp the bike over 2 laps without losing a position to finish P12!

Another strong start and a good battle with Matty to take 11th and a good end to the weekend!

FAB-Racing – Ellough Park Raceway Beccles

Firstly, a massive thank you to Helmet City.co.uk Ltd who continue to support me. Im not a big "crasher" but when Ive come off its great to know Im protected!

And secondly to the guys around me every weekend, my crash left me without a clutch lever. A part that costs less than a tenner. Without it I cant race! I was offered multiple replacements from multiple people which Im greatful for!

After three years away from Ellough Park, I was back for another full weekend of racing with FAB Racing, and there was one main goal: beat my previous lap time from 2023.

My previous best around Ellough was a 54.393, so getting into the 53s was the target.

Qualifying didn't exactly go to plan! 😅 On my second lap of the first qualifying session I crashed, bringing that session to an early end. Thankfully, I was able to get back out for another session and managed to put together a 53.839, putting me P15 on the grid.

That was already a new personal best around Ellough, but there was still plenty of work to do in the races.

Race 1 – P13

Starting 15th, the aim was simply to put the qualifying crash behind me, stay out of trouble and work my way forward. I managed to gain a couple of places and finish 13th.

Race 2 – P14

Race 2 produced another positive despite only gaining one place to finish 14th.

The biggest highlight came on the timing sheet, where I managed to set another new personal best with a 53.706 lap! 🔥

That's almost seven tenths quicker than my previous 2023 best of 54.393.

Race 3 – P14

The final race of the weekend saw me finish 14th.

The results weren't quite where I wanted them to be, but the overall pace was a massive positive and gave me plenty to take away from the weekend.

There's still plenty of pace to find, not just at Ellough but every track. The only place this year Ive felt strong was Lydd. Since then I've really struggled. Even though Im improving on myself, Im still not where I would like to be.
