🚨 Reporting LGBTQ+-Phobic Abuse 🚨

Year on year the levels of homophobic, transphobic, biphobic etc abuse rises but is never reported.

This has a lasting effect on the work done to stop this, as if there are no reports, then the work to stop it cannot be actioned and done.

Here at Unity in Coventry, we are taking a stand against these rising levels and working together to report the abuse, both in person and online.

Join us TOMORROW and EVERY Wednesday for an online reporting session where we tackle these issues head on!

⏰ 5pm-7pm

Together we can come together and combat the rise of abuse towards our community!

❤ Community Panel Open Afternoon ❤

It has been a couple of weeks since we hosted United in Love 2026, and we want your feedback!

THIS Sunday we are hosting an open discussion afternoon at The Yard Coventry from 2pm to get your feedback around how United in Love felt this year, and what we can do to improve for next year! We will also love to understand how Unity in Coventry can continue to support the wider community going forward!

All feedback is valuable to us, this festival is for you, the community, so let us shape it for you!

ANYBODY is welcome to come along, so join in the discussion with us!

See you there!

🎉 Happy Birthday Richard 🎉

On behalf of the Unity in Coventry team, we want to wish one of our fabulous Directors, Richard, a happy birthday!

As part of Unity, Richard plays a pivotal role in key decision making, planning and preparation and handles a large portion of our events, usually being front and centre at many, never being afraid of the spotlight!

From United in Love all the way to being a founding member of our Unity in Coventry Choir, Richard is never afraid to get stuck in on either the front or back lines of our operations!

We really hope you have the most amazing birthday, you deserve every second of that rest!

Happy birthday! ❤️🎉

🎤 UNITY IN COVENTRY CHOIR 🎤

Last Saturday at United in Love 2026, we had the incredible Unity in Coventry Choir perform as part of the festival, and what a performance it was!

Over the last year, our very own Tom has ran and coordinated the choir every Thursday at the Belgrade, training the group and ensuring they all go home happy after meeting and socialising with new people!

The Choir has really came into its own over the last year and we cannot wait to see where they go from here!

If you missed the Choir on Saturday, do NOT worry, as they will also be performing at Coventry Pride TOMORROW, Sunday June 28th at Fargo Village from 2pm, so do not miss it!

Here are some of our favourite photos of them from last weekend! 😍

Make sure you swing by to Coventry Pride today AND tomorrow!

12-6pm on both days, with plenty of entertainment across the weekend!

We will be there tomorrow with a stall so come and see us 😍

Seeing all the incredible Birmingham Pride pics over the weekend, has us SO hyped for June! ☀️🏳️‍🌈
The countdown is officially ON for Coventry Pride 2026! Mark your calendars for June 27th & 28th at FarGo Village. Acts will start being announced very soon!

🔥 UNITED IN LOVE 2026 RECAP 🔥

We cant believe United in Love 2026 is over... but what a day we had on Saturday!

The United in Love team wants to thank every one of you for showing up and showing out on the day, coming along and supporting all of the amazing acts, artists, community and commercial groups!

From speeches with BHA to seeing The Cheeky Girls close out on a spectacular day, we can safely say we have all made memories!

We have a lot to go through as a team over the next few weeks, reflecting on the day and deciding how we can make United in Love 2027 even BIGGER!

Across the coming weeks, expect to see plenty photos from the day, highlighting those amazing performances we all witnessed and shedding light on YOU, who would not have made the day it was if you weren't there!

Stay tuned as we discuss our plans for next year, but for now and once again... THANK YOU! ❤

🌈 THANK YOU! 🌈

What an incredible day United in Love 2026 turned out to be!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, sponsored, supported, and helped make this year’s festival such a success. Seeing our community come together in such a positive, welcoming, and vibrant way is exactly what United in Love is all about.

The Unity in Coventry team are now taking a well-deserved few days off (with a curry at spicysquirrel.coventry) before we get back to work.

And yes… plans for United in Love 2027 are already underway!

Thank you for the love, the laughter, the dancing, and the memories. We couldn’t do it without you!

See you soon! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

🎉🏳️‍🌈 Happy Birthday to Salome Hodgson – Unity's very own Spreadsheet Queen! 👑📊

While some heroes wear capes, Salome wields spreadsheets, formulas, and colour-coded tabs with legendary precision. Behind the scenes, she works tirelessly to make sure our events run smoothly, keeping all the moving parts together and proving that a well-organised spreadsheet really can be a thing of beauty.

As one of the vital cogs in Unity's wheel, your dedication, hard work, and knack for turning chaos into order don't go unnoticed. We honestly don't know whether the events run on teamwork, determination, or whatever magic is hidden in those spreadsheets of yours!

Wishing you a birthday filled with joy, laughter, celebration, and absolutely no unexpected formula errors. May your day be as fabulous, vibrant, and perfectly organised as the spreadsheets you create.

Happy Birthday, Salome! 🌈🎂✨
