It was a pleasure to catch up with Anne from the National Galleries of Scotland and discuss a range of issues.
A special mention to the inspiring Same Dance, Different Song exhibition, featuring work by artist Flannery O'Kafka and celebrating the dancers of Indepen-dance, including Dylan Lombard.

Political parties came together to deliver more powers for the Scottish Parliament, we can do the same to tackle child poverty.
My first action as Scottish Labour Party leader was writing to John Swinney offering to work together to get Scotland back on track to hit child targets that are written into law.
We’ve got 3 years left. Let’s get to work.

It was a privilege to be part of The Frontline, an incredible example of female-led journalism. You can subscribe here and read my piece below.

This month, the Knife Angel is in Leith thanks to the campaigning of Lisa Petrie, whose son John was tragically killed in a stabbing in Leith a year ago.
Lisa has worked incredibly hard to see bleed kits rolled out across key locations and to raise awareness of the devastating impact of knife crime.
I paid tribute to Lisa’s bravery and campaigning in Parliament, and asked the Leader of the House to support a debate on the work being done across the UK to reduce knife crime.
John’s death should never be forgotten, and Lisa’s determination to turn her loss into action is truly remarkable.

Incredible turnout for Sagal Abdi-Wali today! People came from every corner of London (plus representation from Scotland). So excited for Sagal and her campaign. An authentic voice for Holborn and St Pancras. Can’t wait to work alongside her in parliament.

Solidarity with the IWGB and the former Rockstar Games workers as their tribunal begins today. The right to join a union and raise concerns about working conditions is fundamental.
Wishing everyone involved strength as they seek justice through this process. ✊

North Edinburgh cannot be left behind.
I've written to councillors ahead of tomorrow's vote on Edinburgh's future tram network to urge them to keep the ambition of a tram extension to Granton and North Edinburgh alive.
Trams to Granton would link Edinburgh College and the Western General to the tram network and would bring the economic benefits of the trams to communities in Granton, Muirhouse and Pilton.
People in the north of the city deserve the investment and opportunities that better public transport can bring.

'Scrapping trams to north would entrench poverty in deprived areas' Tracy Gilbert says failure to back Granton line ‘a dereliction of responsibility by councillors’
This week, I welcomed the opportunity to speak in the Westminster Hall debate on surrogacy.
But Parliament needs to have a full debate on surrogacy and the fundamental questions it raises about the rights of women and children.
